Hyperpigmentation products
These are the four products that helped my stubborn acne spots. I’ve had some spots for years and it looked like they were never going to go away but now that I’m using these products, I’m seeing a difference. They’re not completely gone, but they’re wayyy lighter than before and they’re fading at a quite rapid pace.

Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner
I have been using this ever since I got it and it doesn’t help my acne spots that much but my overall skin tone is way more even. I never thought a product could do that. So grateful for this!!! I will 100% repurchase in the future.

I received this product for free from Picky and Acwell in exchange for my honest review. This multifunctional toner aiming to brighten and cleanse dull skin is formulated with 10% licorice root water and various botanical ingredients such as peony, cimicifuga and arrowroot extract. This hydrating toner can be used as a leave-in cleanser for those who need a low ph cleanser due to sensitive skin, those who want to cleanse at once without washing the water and those who are looking for a moisturizing cleanser. I personally used this toner after my usual cleanser without using a cotton pad, just like how I would use a normal hydrating toner. I didn’t get any crazy effect at first (except for a dewy effect) but after a day, my skin felt very smooth and moisturized. As for the brightening effect, I did notice my face to have a slight brighter look.

I was a little skeptical of this product because my skin once reacted to the Axis-Y dark spot serum and it made me think that my skin is sensitive to niacinamide. Luckily, it is not because I haven’t broken out from this and I’m super acne prone. I have (re)started using this around two weeks ago and even if it has not been a long time, my acne spots on my cheeks and (mainly) forehead are lighter.

I received this product for free from Picky and TIAM in exchange for my honest review. This serum adresses concerns such as dullness, dark spots and hyperpigmentation all because of a couple of couple star ingredients: -10% niacinamide -2% arbutin -Allantoin This serum is lightweight and when I put it on, I can’t feel it on the skin nor is it sticky. As for the results, I can’t comment on it as I haven’t been using it for a long period of time.

Air Fit UV Defense Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA++++
Idk if it’s because of the green tint but ever since I started using this my skin started looking better. Just, better. My hyperpigmentation got lighter.

I received this product for free from Picky and Benton in exchange for my honest review. This sunscreen offers moisturizing and soothing properties thanks to its star ingredients such as centella asiatica and panthenol. The one thing I love the most about this sunscreen is it’s green tint. I wouldn’t say that it covers redness from blemishes completely, but it still does a good job. In addition to that, it leaves my skin glowy and hydrated. This sunscreen is not heavy at all and doesn’t pill under makeup.

Licorice pH Balancing Advance Serum
This is an honourable mention. I only had the mini size of this product so I didn’t get to try it for a long time, but it’s a great serum if you pair it with the toner. I feel like both products together would work better. My sister and I both loved this serum for the hydration and brightening effect.
