Oily/Sensitive

Azelaic acid is a redness-relieving, acne-fighting ingredient that has mild exfoliating properties. It can actually be paired with any ingredient as long as your skin tolerates it! It can potentially be a bit drying to the skin, but it’s suitable for even sensitive skin. Whether you have rosacea, other redness, acne, or are just looking for an ingredient for healthy skin, azelaic acid is a great choice! Prescription-strength is more beneficial for things like rosacea and acne, but even the cosmetic grade 10% can still provide some relief. I use it day and night!

Absolutely! Most of the research on its benefits is with the 15-20% strength. Super helpful!

Azelaic acid (also ok in pregnancy) 1. Antibacterial effect, successfully fights acne-causing bacteria; 2. Anti-inflammatory effect, ideal in case of inflamed acne or rosacea; 3. Fading effect of post inflammatory spots and maslasma, heals and prevents. You can use it daily, morning and evening. It has no irritating ingredients, it gets into the skin perfectly. Over azelaic acid you can also apply hyaluronic acid serum, I usually apply either a moisturizer or retinal.
