My skins been a little more drier and flakey since the weather has been cooling down. What are your favorite products to help keep your skin moisturized in the winter?

What are your favorite winter products to help keep your skin moisturized?

I’m looking for something that is moisturizing for me to wear daily at work. Preferably tinted. Doesn’t need to be glossy but I don’t mind a little shine. I avoid mineral oils. I currently have a sample of the Clarins lip oil that I’m LOVING, but wanted to see what other options are out there and if there are more affordable option. Please share your holy grails! Thank you!!

~Might have white cast on darker skin, but you may just need to rub it in more. 
~Nothing else comes to mind. This may be my new go to sunscreen for the summer! ☀️

👍 Good:
~High SPF protection that protects against UVA & UVB rays. 
~Love that its fragrance free and non-comedogenic!  It has a very light no-fragrance scent. 
~Great for those with sensitive & acne-prone skin. 
~It’s very lightweight and blends into my skin easily without leaving any white cast. Once blended into my skin, you can’t feel it.

Bad: 
~Leaves a tacky finish at first but eventually dries down
~It’s a bit too moisturizing for my oily/combo skin right now, but I just know my skin would drink this lotion up in the winter. 

I’m not a fan of how tacky the lotion leaves my skin, but it does dry down eventually. I usually use it at night because I’m always in a rush in the morning, and have no patience to wait for my skin to dry down. LOL

~Unique ingredients help with soothing the skin, strengthening the skin barrier, and forms a moisture barrier

ONGREDIENTS Skin Barrier Calming Lotion is a gentle & moisturizing lotion. It’s perfect for those with dry sensitive skin because of its gentle and fragrance free formula. This lotion is also hypoallergenic and vegan. It contains unique ingredients like Centella Asiatica Extract (helps with soothing irritated skin), NC P-Complex (strengthens the skin barrier), and 9-Peptide Complex (forms a moisture barrier). I haven’t used these ingredients before, so I’m excited to see the long term effects from using this lotion. 

After applying the lotion, my skin immediately feels moisturized and looks glowy.


If you have dry skin, this cleanser might be too drying. I have oily&amp;#47;combo skin, so this totally works for me. If you’re not used to products with no scents, the lack of fragrance might smell a bit odd. The cleanser is a but pricey if you’re used to cheap drug store cleansers, but I think the price is fair and worth it. Also, Ulta and Target often have sales!

This cleanser is great because its gentle and doesn’t leave my face too tight or dry. It does leave it a but tight when my skin isnon the drier side, but up just follow up with a more moisturizing serum and moisturizer. I love that the cleanser contains salcylic acid and niacinamides, which helps with my acne. The cleanser also contains no fragrance, which is amazing because some products have overwhelming scents.

-Scented, those sensitive to fragrance might not like
-might too heavy for those with oily skin (I have oilier skin in the summer, so I probably won’t like to use it then)

-very moisturizing (perfect for my preventing dry skin in the winter!)
-dries down, not sticky
-contains good for your skin ingredients like hylauronic acid, collagen, and elastin
-I love how thick the cream is, perfect for my drier skin in the winter

I’m not a fan of the bottle not being completely full but other than that, I love it!
