Hello! I’m in my mid-20s and I love skincare and Picky! I’ve been thinking a lot retinol & need your help! ⬇️

I’ve incorporated anti-aging practices into my skincare routine, but I haven’t started retinol (yet). 😣 

I regularly exfoliate and use an anti-aging serum - as well as wear sunscreen everyday. 🧴💪🏻

I’m nervous that I should’ve started using retinol already, but I’m really intimidated by incorporating it into my routine - especially in the summer! 🥵 ☀️ 

What’s your experience with retinol? Based on your experience, do you think it would be best to start retinol treatments in the winter instead of the summer? ❄️ vs 🏖

Retinol Advice? ⏰

Nothing excet that sheet masks are generally bad for the environment. However, the plastic packaging is recycable!

This product had an enexpectedly strong soothing and luminizing effect on my skin. Normally my skin tingles a bit when using sheet masks, but this mask was incredibly gentle and the fit was great! I couldn’t really smell any strong scent but I felt the essence dripping off the sheet when I opened it up. The next day, my skin was glowing and pimple free!! I understand now why Mediheal is one of Korea’s top sheet mask brands!

Ingredients: this contains shea butter so sensitive skin types should spot test before applying fully

Packaging: glass + plastic makes recycling hard

Texture: very thick so I doubt this will be good for very hot weather or hot summer nights

Overall, I really love this product!!

Summary: A very thick, soothing cream that really helps regenerate the skin barrier and calm redness. This also helps decrease the size and frequency of my pimples and bumps. 

I was a little skeptical about the effectiveness one of the star ingredients: forest yeast. However, after using it for three months I can confidently say that I believe the science! 🧪
 
Due to over-exfoliation and seasonal irritation, an area of my skin became extremely red, painful and sensitized. After taking the appropriate steps and using this sleeping mask, in combination with some Vaseline, CosRX’s legendary snail mucin essence and Missha’s Artemisia Treatment Essence, I got my skin to being healed and pain free! This sleeping mask really helped my skin barrier to regenerate!

The mask is super moisturizing and very heavy. I never wake up with my skin feeling dry. 

Packaging includes a little plastic spoon for you to use! 

I reccommend applying the mask an hour before bed so that it can totally be absorbed before you put your skin on your pillow. 

Lastly, while it’s recommended to apply a cream or moisturizer before applying the mask, I often skip this step because the mask is soo thick and hydrating.

I gave this face wash 3 stars because it left my face feeling a bit tight after washing. It’s a good cleanser: I really recommend this if you have oily or combination skin. If you have dry skin, this may not be the cleanser for you - unless you like a tight feeling after you wash your face!

This product left my face skin feeling and looking clean. The product easily lathers and you don’t need a lot to clean your face.  I noticed that the product helped smooth my skin out a little, however I didn’t notice any major change. There also isn’t much fragrance, so if you are sensitive to fragrance I would recommend spot testing this product. Lastly, I really liked the bottle: it was easy to get the right amount of product every day.

Next day: I ended up breaking out 😞

Wasteful: there’s a piece of plastic film that’s used to help support&#47;seperate parts of the mask inside the packaging. I wish the packaging was more minimal. 

Scent: if you have sensitive skin, the fragrance might be too much for you. I don’t have sensitive skin so I found the smell pleasant and light.

I was worried that the incredible amount of 
vitamin C essence loaded into the face mask would casue irritation or redness. I was pleasantly surprised to find my face very moisturized and noticibly brighter after using! 
The mask’s essence took some time to completely soak into my skin after I removed the mask but it wasn’t particularly heavy or sticky. It was very nice and the pleasant scent wasnt too strong as well. 

The mask itself is of nice quality: the material isn’t too thin but it also doesn’t feel too heavy on the face.

This cream also claims to “Moisturize your skin from within and keep it hydrated for 72 hours!” I loved the moisture this cream provided BUT I found skin didn’t necessarily stay hydrated for 72 hours after using it nor did it change my skin from “dry” to “normal.”  🤷‍♀️

Because of its thick texture, I noticed that i had to exfoliate more otherwose whiteheads and blackheads would build up quicker - especially around my mouth and cheeks where my mask covers my face. 😷

This product claims to strengthen the skin barrier and deeply moisturize through newly patented Omega-Ceramide-16. After using it for two and a half weeks, I agree! My skin exfoliates easier and I wake up with my skin feeling like I used a sleeping mask every time I use this as a night cream! ✨

I really liked the thick, creamy almost whipped-butter like texture. I was nervous about using it at first, but it easily melts into the skin as you rub it in. I normally applied it after COSRX Snail Mucin Essence with no problem. 🐌

I had no negative reaction to this product and found it incredibly easy to incorporate into my routine, especially as the weather got colder, windier and dryer! 💨

I really recommend this cream for winter and for those who have dry skin and/or sensitive skin. 💕
