The Weirdest Skincare Myths😱

Hello! Let’s talk abt exfoliation.

In the past 4-5 years, chemical exfoliation gains more popularity in the skincare industry. 

Skincare products that contain AHA, BHA, PHA are claimed to be more gentle in terms of removing dead skin cells and also less irritating.

On the flip side, there are narratives said that physical exfo is damaging your skincare barrier and more irritating.

So, which one works better for you?

Do you still believe in physical exfoliants?

It still contains considerable fragrance that might irritate skin.

Not just its pleasant aroma, but it contains DEAD SEA MUD from Jordan that claims to remove dead skin cells and absorbs oil excess.

Although it is a wash-off mask, I frequently use it as an acne spot treatment. So, I leave it overnight to absorb the oil excess that cause my acne and it works like magic. 

From the price point, I find it super affordable!

Not neccesarily bad, but it’s not an ideal cleanser to use when in a rush. It takes a little time to dillute the powder. Since you probably will pour too much and waste the product.

Since it’s powder, it’s travel friendly. You don’t need to worry that it’ll be leaking. And also, it’s easy to lather and the foam is really soft on skin. Not too foamy but just perfect. Although it contains walnut scrub, it’s still very gentle on skin but has mild exfoliating effect.

🙈 For an AU$80ish moisturizer it is way too basic.

✅ Super light
✅ Unscented
✅ It gives a nice slip to be applied under makeup and helps to smoothen pores
✅ Gives a good hydration
✅ Easy to absorb

From the price point, I believe it’s still pricey for an exfoliation product.

Tried in a sample size version, given by sephora beauty assistant and SUPER LOVE IT! I have tried 1 or 2 similar products but this one gives the best result. My skin feels way smoother and brighter after the application.

I dont find any bad things from this product

Already finished my second bottle. So far, I am loving this hydrating toner. Why? Because it’s just:

•Hydrating
•Plumping
•Very Cheap

I can even use it as a sheet mask with silcot cotton without worrying to finish it soon😚
