Any good product recommendations to use after laser treatments?  Specifically laser hair removal, IPL facial and thermage.

Over-hyped, unnecessary, no visible results, sticky texture

I tested the line of “Fruit Babies” from Glow Recipe to see if the products actually lived up to their hype and this was one of the products that I can honestly say is 100% over-hyped. The Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum claims to brighten and give your skin a “glowing” appearance but I really couldnt tell much of a difference from using it or skipping it.  

The presentation of this product is impressive.  It comes in a super cute glass bottle which can be easily recycled, refilled, or up-cycled which is really unique and cool.  

I had not used niacinamide skincare products before and I don’t think I will be rushing out to try any more since it really didn’t have any effect on my skin at all.  However, this serum felt gentle on my skin with a sticky texture.  It didn’t take anything away from my skincare routine but it didn’t really add anything either.

The texture of this serum is similiar to a gel and only requires two pumps in order to get full coverage.  I also especially like that I can “layer” other serums from this line as well for maximum benefits in my skincare routine without worrying about adverse reactions from using multiple products.  

In conclusion, I am not really a fan of this product since I think it’s just another unnecessary product that doesn’t deliver a lot of benefits for your money or effort.  

The scent is kind of strange (like berry candy) which I don’t particularly care for.

Mind blown!  I went from having the most beat up, wind chapped lips to smooth, supple, and kissable overnight!  This will be a part of my nightly routine in order to maintain my pucker throughout the cold and brutal winter months.  

I tried to apply the cream a little closer to my eyes in order to get full coverage on my face which was a mistake.  It stung a little being too close to my eyes.  

True to the name this cream leaves your skin with a “dewy” texture.  This is probably one of the best textures that I have found from a moisturizer and it feels extremely hydrating long after it has been applied.  I discovered this cream at Sephora while searching for a hydrating and gentle moisturizer in order to rebuild my skin’s barrier following the many laser treatments I subject my skin to which can take a toll on my hydration and leave my skin very dry.  My skin has never felt more hydrated and I am enjoying treating my skin to such a supple and rich moisturizer.

There is nothing I don’t like about this product. 

This is one of those few products that I immediately loved and now can’t even fathom how I used to do without it.  Honey Halo has taken my skincare game to whole new levels with added moisture and suppleness.  🍯 

I use this as the final step of my evening skincare routine following an essence, eye cream, oil, and regular moisturizer.  My skin soaks it in and feels so soft when I wake up in the morning after I have supplemented my skincare routine with Honey Halo.  😇 

The texture is light and fluffly but still delivers moisture which feels hydrating but not overly heavy.  I like the nice light scent which smells reminiscent of honey as well.  The hygenic spatula that magnetizes to the top of the wooden lid is super convenient.  💗 

There is nothing about this product that I don’t like.

Now that I am in my mid-30s I have become increasingly more concerned with caring for my neck and décolleté.  This is a manna from heaven for my skin and has visibly hydrated and reduced the signs of aging on these areas.  A little bit of this ultra rich cream goes a long way and one jar lasts quite a while - even if you are using it every day like I do.
