I got a notification on my phone about doing new reviews to remain eligible for the Picky Reviewer renewal, or at least something like that. When I clicked it, I thought that it would take me to a page with more information, but it didn’t. Does anyone know what it was about or have an article they can refer me to? I would really appreciate it!

I’m so excited that I was selected for this opportunity! It’s been a while since I’ve won a giveaway on Picky, and I really wanted to try this since I’ve liked other Skin1004 products and am always looking for great sun protection! I can’t wait to try it out! 

Has anyone tried this before? How did you like it?

Skin1004 Sun Serum Win!

I just joined Picky pretty recently, and I was skeptical that I would ever personally win a giveaway, but I just received an email saying I won the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule!! I’m so excited and shocked that I won one so soon after joining! What a great way to start the day!

No issues or conplaints! I do think it is a little expensive though.

I received this product for free from Picky and MIXSOON in exchange for my honest review. The packaging of this soondy centella asiatica essence is very cute, and it felt subtly festive for the holidays! It comes in a plastic bottle with a screw top, and the label features an adorable  bear, snowflakes, and pine trees! 

The essence itself is a watery texture with an appealing golden yellow color, and it has a very subtle nondescript scent. It felt gentle on my skin and was easy to apply with a cotton ball. Although it takes a bit to fully absorb into my skin, it eventually does without any residue. 

It’s a nice essence for the first step in your skincare routine, and it did feel that it helped with my skin moisture! 

I loved the formula and the product itself, but I do think the packaging could be improved. It feels like a lot of plastic for a small bottle, and although the pump top makes it easy to distribute a small amount, I have concerns that it may become difficult to get the last of the product as it starts to run out.

I loved this sun serum from Skin 1004! It’s a lightweight creamy formula that easily blended into my skin, leaving no white cast. I was pleasantly surprised by just how mousturizing it was! I really liked how it felt on my skin, and there was no greasy shine or scent. This would be a nice serum for me, but the fact that it feels like a nice serum *and* provides 50SPF is fabulous! 

-The bottle is beautfiful, but not very travel-friendly if thats something you need to take into consideration with your lifestyle.

-It can be somewhat sticky until it fully absorbs into your skin. (If you apply it to heavily, you may find your skin continues to feel tacky)

-While I didn’t find it to be drying, it wasn’t as mousturizing as I expected.

-This ampoule is intended to help brighten skin and improve your skin’s moisture barrier, and it features beads of MadeWhite for this purpose. These beads easily dissolve during normal application. It also recommends using this ampoule after cleansing and toning in your skincare routine.

-The bottle is glass with a clean design and angled dropper for application. I found the consistency to be very thin and lightweight which I liked. As a result, a little goes a long way, and a 100ml bottle should last awhile. 

-I did feel like I experienced some brightening, but it’s very subtle. 

However, I have not yet seen any noticeable differences or improvements in my skin beyond that. Overall, I was happy with it, and I’m going to see how it works with my skin as I continue using it.

I received the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule through a Picky giveaway, snd j was so excited to rry it! Although it doesnt affect the quality or effectiveness of the product, tye first thing that i found appealing was the packaging. It comes in a yellow bottle with a simple and clean label that deels elegant. I also loved the pipette dropper which has an angled tip for easy application!

There is no scent to the product, and the consistency is very thin and light. As a result, a little bit of if goes a long way! It was wasily absorbed into my skin, and I didn’t experience any tackiness with it. 

Immediately after applying it, my skin felt more hydrated.

I’ve heard such good things about this product, but it just didnt work for me. It was more “lotion-y” than I was expecting for a serum. That alone wasn’t a problem, but it felt like it never fully absorbed into my skin, leaving a tacky sensation that later evolved into my combination skin feeling extra oily. I also didn’t see much in the way or brightening or firming, and I have concerns about this leading to clogged pores for my skin.
