I recently bought SKII pitera essence which costs like $100 for 75ml which is so expensive. I did some research and thought of trying it after seeing some rave reviews. I will be posting a full review after using it for 40-50 days. But I also saw some dupes for the same from Missha, Cosrx and Secret key which are much more affordable. Have you tried SKII essence? Are the dupes really like the original one?

So I recently started a discussion on if korean skincare is becoming mundane using the same ingredients in most of their products and after reading some of your comments (appreciate your participation btw) I just wanted to say don't you think Korean skincare and makeup is made to cater their skincare needs as per their environment, their skin type, their variables not for us in other countries with different skin types, different environment and different issues? Would love to know your point of view bcz I have seen their toneup sunscreens going Grey on my skin, their makeup products barely visible on my skintone. I love the products but are they made for everyone?

I wanted some help, I saw that TirTir has launched some new darker shades (25N Mocha, 27N Camel and 29N Natural beige) for their famous cushion foundation but I am very confused about which shade I should get. I tried matching my skin color with the influencers on TikTok and YouTube but all the girls I saw trying them had white or almost white complexion so I don’t know which shade will match me, for reference I use Dior skin glow foundation in shade 3N.
Will be great if you guys can help me decide.

I have noticed a little brightening effect but that's because Tranexamic Acid takes around 12 weeks to show results so maybe it will work more over the time.

This time I am reviewing @beautyofjoseon_official Apricot mild peeling gel. I have been using it from 1 month. I use it twice a week as it is a mild exfoliant so it doesn&#39;t harm your skin.
It comes in a big tube, has 120 ml of product in it. I have used it around 7-8 times still more than half is remaining and trust me I take a lot of gel each time to exfoliate.
Exfoliation is very important if you layer different products on your skin everyday, like I do.
It removes all the dead skin cells, all the dirt that our foam cleansers cannot remove.
The gel itself is very lightweight, once you apply it and start massaging your face it starts peeling off. Keep massaging for 5 minutes and wash your face with lukewarm water. Carry on with your routine products afterwards.
I love how mild this gel is, I have dry skin and my skin doesn&#39;t feel dry after using it. I generally use a sheet mask after it, does wonders.

Can't comment on the brightening effects as I have not noticed that but maybe in long term it will.

The toner is formulated with great ingredients.

It is very hydrating, suits my dry skin very well and it is very gentle exfoliator so it can be used daily.

Love the water like texture, absorbs quickly without any stickiness and can be layered up easily.
