Hey, fellow oily skin folks. 

Wondering what your favourite products are that contain niacinamide (mainly serums, but not opposed to other products). I’ve used Ordinary and Revolution and, so far, the latter has worked better for me. 

Would love to know your recommendations and stories!

Niacinamide Madness

Wish the application was a bit smoother, but I know it’s from the agave component (which is one of my favourite parts about this product).

Use this daily. Love how long it wears on my lips without feeling heavy. Smells and tastes great, too.

Pump mechanism is faulty. Once you get past the halfway point of the bottle, the product doesn’t dispense easily anymore.

A definite step up from its non-sheer version. I find it stays better on my skin through the day (healthy glow instead of heavy grease). Checks boxes for texture, finish, and sun protection.

Nothing about the formulation… it just seems so difficult to find in Canada.

My favourite cleanser to date. Many other cleansers I’ve used with salycilic acid as an active tend to be a bit stripping, but this formulation works very well for me. I feel like it has been a key factor to the improvement of my skin in the past couple of months.

Seems a little too heavy for me. I tend to look a little too greasy after about an hour of wearing it, so I tend to use it only when I have to go out for a quick errand. However, I used it only in warmer months. Maybe it will perform a little differently on me in colder months.

I love a hybrid sunscreen. This one is affordable and quite easy to apply. Also love that it dispenses via pump.

It may just be an import thing, but it can get a bit pricey when purchasing from K-beauty stores in Canada. Also find the product texture to be too much for daytime wear.

Easy to use; a little goes a long way. I used it for a time as my night moisturizer. My skin always felt really nice the morning after and, with time, felt more resilient.
