New yesstyle haul!

What's the best way to reapply spf? I'm looking for a product but here are the my issues/requirements:

• I have oily skin
• Need to apply well over makeup
• I've tried spf powder before with the in-built brush and the spf wouldn't come out properly so was annoying to use
• Needs to be poc friendly so no white cast
• Ideally not aerosol as I can't take on carry-on
• Compact size, fits in a handbag

Am I searching for the impossible?? 😅

Any recommendations of serums or treatments that are good for sensitive skin with hyperpigmentation?? No fragrance or alcohol too!

Hyperpigmentation + sensitive skin??

I think we all have those brands that we hear so much about but aren't easily accessible to us! For me they are:

☆ Cos de baha- I've learnt about this brand through fellow Picky users and the ingredients look great. I can get it on yesstyle but it has 21 wait and I can't wait that long 😅

☆ Krave beauty- if you're a skincare lover you most definitely know this brand! Luckily, I believe they've just introduced UK shopping today so will hopefully get to try some products! 🥰

What's a brand you want to try?

For the last nearly 3 years, I have only used the purito green unscented serum. I've gone through perhaps 10 bottles and LOVE IT.

However....I want to try something new! Anyone use anything similar?? Or even better?

I want it around the same price and mainly to be focused on soothing soothing barrier repair (I get actives through my toner or treatments). No alcohol or fragrance! And cruelty-free too!

Looking forward to o discovering new products!

Alternative to purito serum??

I found it sinks into my lip lines a little when worn a long but I usually wear with a lipstick or lipliner underneath and it's fine

Cons:
• Single use packaging
• Mask could have more slits for a better fit especially around the eyes

Honestly, I'm not a frequent user of sheet masks. More so from a environmental point of view but also I find some of the ones I've used contained heavy, sticky serums that made my skin congested. However, the instant hit of hydration and soothing feeling you get from sheet masks is unmatched. So, for special occasions or when my skin is especially sensitive and irritated (like the week before my period), sheet masks can be amazing! 

Pros:
• Cooling and soothing
• Gel texture of the biodegradable sheet mask locked in hydration and adhered well to the skin
• Made my skin look SO SMOOTH and plump the next morning 
• I experienced no irritation 

Overall, I'm very impressed by how smooth this left my skin feeling. My barrier felt stronger and fine lines minimised. This has reinforced the idea that gel sheet masks work best on my skin and I would definitely consider buying a couple to have on hand to use for special occasions like Eid and weddings! 

If I was being really Picky 😉 I'd love to have a mirror in the palette

I love the effect of glitter eyeshadow especially from the looks I've seen on my favourite kpop artists but it's always such a mess from the products I've tried so I was ok with passing it off to my sister...until I swatched it 😍😅 The western glitter products I have previously tried left fall out all over the place but this is very minimal mess and rinses off with just soap and water! 

I also love the the glitters stay in place and aren't chunky as I've seen enough horror stories about glitter getting into the eye. You can create quite a simple yet stunning look with these just by using a soft transition shade and patting a sheer glitter on top!

🍊 Cons:
• Pricey for what it is, it's £22 on Yesstyle 
• If you've read my other Nacific reviews you can probably guess what I'm going going say...it contains essential oils! Not just a couple at the end of the ingredients, but this products has bergamot and orange peel pil in the first half of the ingredient lists! So, no surprise, this made my sensitive skin really itchy 

🍊 Final thoughts- this product is not for me and honestly, with that price, I feel like you can find skincare mists for cheaper and without the essential oils.

The downside to this would be I prefer a pump since it's less of a faff than a pipette. Lastly, I did actually look up the price of this since I would consider repurchasing and it's more than what I usually spend however it is a larger volume compared to a standard serum as this is 50ml and my usual ones are 30ml so could be better value for money.

💚 Artichoke Biome Calming Ampoule- first of all...how beautiful is this glass packaging? 😍 I know technically ampoule and serum are different products but I use them interchangeably. The texture is light but not too runny. It leaves my skin hydrated without being sticky and I genuinely think it has reduced redness in my skin whilst helping maintain my skin barrier.
