Acne..ugh

My 16 year old suffers from acne & scarring(he's a picker) what is your favorite acne wash/product? I don't suffer from acne so I'm a little clueless. We have tried Noxzema, Neutrogena & Clean & Clear acne pads. I just purchased Missha face wash, he just started using it today. Is there a serum or cream that he cod use along with the face wash that will show results? I feel really bad for him. I want to take him to a dermatologist but he really doesn't want to go. I told him we will experiment for a few months & if no results we ARE going.

Thank you. Going to find out how to get to your routine. He's a crazy 16 year old so getting him to do a lengthy routine, unfortunately, will not happen.

It takes time for acne to stop since he is going through puberty. I think you’re going to the right direction already. If you could get Differin gel, he can use it at night to treat his acne. Differin is a brand name for adapalene, a type of retinoid or vit A which is great against acne.

I will have to pick some up. I have The Ordinary's retinol does that help with acne? I thought retinol was mostly for lines & wrinkles. Man I have a lot to learn 🤦‍♀️

I recommended these 2 cleansers to my niece for her acne. This vitamin C 🍋 serum has helped lighten PIH marks. Here's my experience ⬇️ https://www.instagram.com/p/CT9SZZipRMf/?utm_medium=copy_link PS: I'm a picker too! 😔

Thank you. I will have to try these. He said he really likes how the Missha makes his face feel, holding out hope that we see results. I wonder if he could alternate what we have along with the CeraVe?
