The weirdest/ illogical ingredient for me is definitely gold. I never seem to understand why would specks of gold or a thin piece of gold is incorporated in as skincare. Just like gold in food, it doesn't add any actual values aside for visual.

PLACENTA ESSENCE.
Like, I get it's ceramide extracts and whatnot but... just HEARING the word placenta in skincare makes me shiver with a deep-seated revulsion that I just... can't get over.🤢
