It’s mainly just a wash off mask issue- but it takes some time to remove all the mask off. Perhaps i wouldn’t have any complaints if i didn’t have to wash it off!

Experience: This feels so soothing on the skin, perfect for calming any inflammation or irritation on the skin. It was a hot day and my face was slightly red before the application, but by the time I washed it off, the redness was minimized and pretty much non-visible! It’s got a minty, refreshing scent and a very lightweight, gel texture. I can see myself using this a lot on warmer days especially post-shower, after I come home from a walk or a run on a sunny day. The timing for this mask launch is just...perfect!

It does remind me of the i’m from Mugwort Mask, with that soothing and cooling feeling, but in terms of scent and texture, the two are completely different!

After cleansing and applying toner, I use two pumps to cover my face, then follow with a serum and lastly moisturizer + eye cream.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: this is very smooth and glides on the skin very nicely. There’s no stickiness to it at all &amp; I love how lightweight it feels. It’s perfect for the warmer weather that’s finally returning to us here in sunny California ☀️ 
Overall, I’ve noticed that the areas where I’m the most prone to acne has been less congested and I’ve gotten less pimples!

Definitely would consider! I need to work through my current Essence stash, but once I run out, I’m definitely going to restock, especially if it’s on sale 😉

At first i felt like it was doing nothing to my face, but after consistent use, i can assure you it’s doing something! It alleviates any sensitive areas i may have after a chemical peel or over exfoliation on my skin!

Contains Panthenol which is a humectant, an ingredient know to hydrate the skin. This one truly has no scent so it’s really great for anyone who has sensitive skin. The first time I used it, I was very out of it and put on my eye cream before my toner and as I swept the cotton pad across my face, I was surprised at how good and how similar the scent was to my eye cream LOL.

The pilling is the biggest drawback because that just means I can’t use it in the mornings, unless I know I’ll be washing my face soon. I do recommend to use this at night though, which is when the skin will benefit most with hydrating products to restore moisture on the skin. Plus, you’ll wash it all off in the morning, which is probably about when the product will begin to start causing pilling issues.

☀️ I really loved this product upon first application! It has this slight viscosity in texture that sinks into the skin so beautifully. It does leave a very slight tacky finish, but nothing that will be noticed after a layer of moisturizer is added on. 

🍇 There is a slight grape scent that can only be smelled within the first 3 seconds after application. It goes away so quickly that when I brought my fingers close to my nose for another whiff, the scent was already gone! 

🌙 Now, moving on to how my skin feels by the end of the day... can you believe, my skin actually started pilling!? At first, I had no idea it was the essence toner, because everything I put on my skin, I try my best to wait for it to dry before layering another product on top. But I suspect it’s the tackiness left behind, that seems to be leaving some clear and rubbery like pilling residue on my face.

There is fragrance which i love the scent. But it could be bad for those sensitive to fragrance&#47;essential oils!
