UV Perfect Protect Milk Moisture SPF 50+
There are many people aware the importance of using sunscreen. So today I'll be reviewing one of the most favourite drugstore sunscreen – Biore UV Perfect Protect Milk.
• Packaging
Comes in a 25ml yellow small plastic bottle. This product comes with a narrow tip that allows us to control the amount of the sunscreen dispensed.
• Scent
Has subtle floral scent and no noticeable scent of alcohol.
• Texture
Comes in a milky-like texture, lightweight but surprisingly, consistency of this sunscreen is quite thin or runny, and due to this reason, it spreads easily on skin. Leaves a mattifying, powdery, smooth, and silky-like finish on the skin.
• Personal Experience and Thought
This hybrid sunscreen contains both physical and chemical UV filters, and it may leaves a little white cast.
It also contains skin-friendly ingredients like vitamin E and rice germ extract.
This SPF is pretty cool in that it's fragrance free and essential oil free which is REALLY hard to find. Most Korean and Japanese sunscreens contain essential oils, which may irritate our skin and leave it looking extremely oily, but this sunscreen contains no oils whatsoever. It calls itself a milk and that is exactly what the texture is like. You have to give it a good shake before using and it goes on like a liquid.
It's also lightweight and perfect solution for someone who doesn’t want that greasy feeling when wearing sunscreen. Easy to use every day under your foundation. Silky smooth feel with added benefit of protection from the sun.
It's a very small bottle which is handy to keep in your bag but you run out quickly enough so I've bought backups. I've already bought three bottles and will continue to repurchase, unless I find another product that does the same for me as this sunscreen.
My complaint is that the size is so small and I don't believe there's any larger size.
Not really suitable for dry, sensitive or sensitise skin because it has an alcohol. Alcohol is often used in sunscreen to make the consistency lighter, preserve the product, great solvent, penetration enhancer, creates cosmetically elegant, light formulas, fast absorbing, great astringent and antimicrobial. Alcohol also can be very drying if it's in the first few ingredients on an ingredient list. That's why my oily skin like this sunscreen because it's fairly thin, goes on easily and helps to control oil. Especially in heat and humidity when other sunscreen can turn my face into an oil slick, this is a great face sunscreen. I do find this product to be quite drying when I use it on its own (prolly due to the high content of alcohol) but I always apply hydrating products in my skincare routine before I top it off with a sunscreen so it’s all good.
Has pore clogging ingredient like Isopropyl Palmitate and Talc.
