Faded
I’ll admit I bought this product on impulse. The honest representation in the advertising was a huge draw for me as well the key ingredients—tranexamic acid and kojic acid—listed in the back.
Did it do it’s job at lightening my PIH? It’s hard to say. I gave it a few months and I can’t tell if it was just due to time, my usual habits of exfoliating and moisturizing, or if the key ingredients of really did do their job. The spots I have are considerably lighter, which I’m happy about.
I’ve used retinoids for treating the same concerns and have had similar if not better results.
The biggest disappointment about this product was the unpleasant smell or lack of odor neutralizing fragrance. It just smelled mildly sulphuric. I couldn’t get over it even with consistent usage. I tended to use this product more on my body than my face due to the smell.
The product doesn’t really absorb into the skin well. It stays kind of slick on the surface of my skin even after rubbing it in.
Price-wise, it was a little bit on the expensive side to me.
Would I repurchase it? Depends on my mood but not likely.
