Light and watery consistency with a subtle herbal ginseng type of scent. However, it feels replenishing. Its like a nice luxurious treat for the skin. So far, this have been good for maintaining an overall healthy complexion.

Contains saclicylic acid and one EOs (Rosewood oil). Therefore, may not be suitable for sensitive skin types.

The size of these pads are extra large and covered my entire cheeks. The cotton material of is quite thick and durable. There is one smooth side and one embossed side. The pads are generously soaked in essence. The essence is lightweight, watery and non sticky. 

I like the versatility of these pads. Personally, I like to use the pads as a face mask to add back hydration and then, use the embossing side for a mild form of physical exfoliation. It is gentle and non abrasive. It is a great way to prep your skin before applying makeup. My skin is appeared less textured, more smooth and foundation applied a lot better. 

Contains one EOs (Rosewood Oil). However, the scent is very subtle and does not linger.

I noticed that once the essence have fully absorbed the hydration sort of disappears. For me, this felt more like a toner than an essence. It would be better it provided prolonged hydration.

I really like these types of simple and straightforward essences. This has a minimal ingredient list, water-like consistency and no fragrance&#47;eo’s. This feels like splashing water on your face as it gives you that temporary relief from the uncomfortable tight and dehydrated feeling after cleansing. Overall, I do like the simplicity behind it and how gentle it felt on my skin. It is good for a quick boost of hydration to start of your routine

Dewy finish so, might look a bit shiny after a couple of hours.

This is a really good well rounded gel cream and it is everything I expect from a gel cream. The consistency is lightweight but a bit more ‘body’ to it. It spreads effortlessly, absorbs almost immediately and leaves no sticky&#47;tacky finish. This is so hydrating! I love the burst of hydration this gives me skin. It seeps so deeply  and nicely into the layers of my skin but, most importantly the hydration actually last throughout the day. Not once, did it leave my skin feeling tight or dehydrated. It layers so well under other products.

In terms of hydration it is just average. I still need to use a hydrating serum or essence underneath. If fragrance is not your thing then, this may not be suitable. The scent reminds me of a banana smoothie but surprisingly it is quite faint and not overpowering. The banana scent does not linger and it actually goes away rather quickly.

The texture and consistency is really nice and unique. It really reminds me of creme brulee or creme caramel dessert. It is has a nice jelly &#47; pudding like bounce to it. The overall consistency is lightweight and once when it comes into contact with skin, it transform to a lotion to gel like consistency. It spreads and glides so effortlessly. I really feel like Glow Recipe nailed the consistency and texture with this product. It leaves a thin film behind but barely noticeable. My skin felt soft and plump with no sticky or tacky feeling. It does takes a few seconds to fully absorb into skin but, it sits well under other products. Also, this cream will give you a nice dewy glow.
