I have invested a lot of time and money into taking care of my skin but it's hard to stay consistent. I'll religiously keep up with my morning and evening regimen but I'll fall off if I get depressed and barely look in the mirror for the 2 weeks. I need some tips to stay motivated. Help!

I received the Riverdol product samples in the mail a few days ago and I'm trying the glycolic peel tonight. It's a thick creamy serum, not scented at all which I love. You're to apply it to clean skin, leave on for 20 minutes and wash it off. I'll let you all know how it goes!!!

Trying the Riversol Glycolic Peel!!

I've been using Skin1004 Airfit sunscreen and I absolutely love it. It's easily the best sunscreen I have ever used but I would like to try a gel product if anyone has any recommendations.

So as I said in my last post, I received the Riversol sample pack in the mail a few days ago. Tonight I tried the glycolic peel. 
Obviously I'm in my 40s so maintaining a regular and reliable routine is very important to me to continue trying to fight off my advancing age. (Please ignore my gray ass hair in my pic!!! I'm kinda embarrassed and really really need to do a good dye job)
I'm always a little nervous using a peel, I'm afraid of adverse effects, but this product went on nice and creamy, no burning or tingling feeling that I've gotten from some peels. 
The product itself is a thick white cream, almost no scent at all, which I love. I applied a moderate amount, a little less than half the sample pack. A little seems to go a long way. I applied to my face and neck, left on for the recommended 20 minutes and washed it off with warm water.
I was impressed with the results. My skin feels really clean and hydrated, not overly dried out which I've experienced with some glycolic peels on the past. Just after this one use my cheeks feel a bit firmer and my 11 lines did seem a bit less noticable. 
All in all I'd say this was a positive experience although I don't know if I'd buy this product for myself because I do prefer my regular products that I use in my routine.

I love Strivectin products and this is one of my favorites. I was a little hesitant to try an oil product because my skin doesn't always respond well to them but I love the multi action oil. 
The bottle is ready pretty and it has a nice dropper to apply with. The oil itself is smooth as silk, it's literally like rubbing silk into your skin, it just feels good. 
I can see an immediate difference in my skin, it softens up my 11 lines making them less noticable. My skin looks brighter and younger, feels smoother, and just has an overall healthy glow. 


I love these pads, they are amazing! They clean you skin, giving it lovely healthy glow digging out dirt and oil, leaving my skin feeling clean and refreshed. 

Nothing! It's a bit expensive but oh so worth it!! 

I love a good retinol cream and this is one of the best. Drunk Elephant has amazing products and they are so fun to mix and match
 The packaging is always stylish and beautiful. The product itself is a creamy yellow that absorbs into my skin so well it's like rubbing in air. I use it 3 times a week at night and by morning my skin always looks tighter and more firm. I can definitely see a difference when using this retinol cream.  Drunk Elephant is a bit expensive but it's so worth it. If you want a quality retinol cream I highly recommend it! 

This is one of my favorite cleansers and I have been using it for years. It's gentle, leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh, but doesn't dry me out or leave my skin feeling stripped of it's natural moisture. 

Strivectin is one of my favorite brands, and I love the Wrinkle Recode Cream. It's comes in a lovely glass jar, complete with spatula for easy, clean application. The cream looks and feels incredibly heavy but goes on light and airy. It absorbs quickly leaving my skin feeling hydrated and youthful. 
The cream is made with oils that mimic the natural fatty acids in one's skin. 
Their key ingredient is Strivectin's patented NIA 114, niacin and B3. It does have an odd scent, kind of minty and medicinal which I find soothing. I've been using it for ever a year and I've definitely seen the benefits, my fine lines are smoother and less noticable. My skin stays hydrated and plump throughout the day.
