FRESH SKINLAB ✨ Jeju Aloe Ice Sunblock Spf50 ✨ Description: Fresh Jeju Aloe Ice UV Sunblock with SPF 50 PA++ provides superior sun protection while keeping your skin cool and hydrated. Claims: ✓ Light watery essence ✓ Cooling effect ✓ Hydrating ✓ Non-sticky feel ✓ Sun Protection Personal Thoughts/Review: I would firstly applaud the packaging as it was really pleasing to the eye highlighting one of it's ingredient which is the Aloe Vera. Talking about the price, it doesn't cost much considering the protection it could give to our skin! It already has SPF50 as well as PA++ that could help to block both the UVB and UVA rays which are known to be damaging to the skin. As for the first claim, I didn't actually find it having a watery texture but instead I consider it as having a cream texture and has a Refreshing fragrance. I didn't feel a cooling effect upon application however, I observed that it has a white cast but not that much which I do like as it blends easily to the skin that makes me look like having a fairer skin. With regards to the products third claim, It is indeed hydrating and it gives a glowy effect which makes my skin looks healthier. Lastly, it does feel sticky upon application but that stickiness fades away after about 2-3 mins. so it wasn't a big deal for me at all. It is also worth taking note that it is Alcohol and Paraben Free. I use this product everyday and I apply a generous amount especially if I'll be going outside for a long period of time and I can say that it does protect my skin as it didn't get burnt/darker so make sure to reapply! ... I didn't actually find anything bad about this product however, always make sure to patch test first to other parts of the skin before actually using it to your face as some people might be allergic to some of the components of this product.... Read more

bad review
• In the year 2020, it was pulled out in the PH market due to its controversy about their claims. There are so many ingredients that makes the people want it but sad to say, there is no assurance about their claims that it can protect you from the sun. I don’t know if they are trying to fix but as of now, they are just proving that not all famous brand and cheaper prices are worth buying. And also, it would be better if future buyers invest more on reliable, FDA approved and trusted sunscreen products.... Read more

My Holy grail sunblock! For someone who has combination and acne prone skin, this sunblock is by far one of the best I have tried. It's budget friendly so you don't have to worry about breaking the bank. It has a gel like consistency which I also love (a big fan of gels). Its very lightweight and Its non sticky as well.... good review
If I have to describe this sunscreen, it would be through the words: "Ambitious, but doesn't live up to what it hoped." I think it's quite decent especially since it doesn't put a dent on your budget, but I think it would be better to look for alternatives instead. But before I delve onto it's problems, let's take a look first at its positives: Beneficial Ingredients🧫: ➡️ Niacinamide ➡️ Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract Texture🧫: ➡️ The product comes out white from the tube so it might look scary at first, but once you spread it out, the white color disappears as it's absorbed. Sunscreen Type🌞: Physical Sunblock/Sunscreen Rating📝: 1.5⭐/5 Would Repurchase? NO THE PROS✔️ ☑️ It's really cheap, like dirt cheap when you compare the size of the product with the price. For a student on budget, the price tag was perfect for me. ☑️ As I have mentioned, the product comes in a 100ml amount which is quite unusual for an entry size for a sunblock since most sunblock has sizes that ranges 50ml or below but with higher prices. ☑️ It has a cooling sensation upon application, probably due to the aloe vera extract in it, plus it's alcohol and paraben-free. ☑️ Minimal white cast, so darker skinned gals would surely like how it doesn't make their skin look paler than their natural skin color.... THE CONS❎ ❎ It's too greasy, heavy and, tacky for my skin. Even if I have a drier skin type, this sunscreen just feels so uncomfortable and sticky, to the point that my hair always sticks to my face😐. The discomfort then amplifies on warmer weather since it really feels like a film is stuck on your face. ❎ The fragrance❇️. Good lord, the fragrance on this thing is too strong. I usually like the scent of aloe vera and I'm not really sensitive to fragrances either, but the fragrance on this thing was too overpowering that I always contemplate on whether I stop wearing sunscreen altogether😣 ❎ It was embroiled in a fiasco with the FDA. Weeks after I bought this sunscreen, I unluckily found out that the local FDA wants this product to be pulled off the shelves. The news just made me more sceptical if the SPF claims that they have with this product are actually true, especially since Asian sunscreens at the time were under fire for misinformed SPF levels plus this sunscreen never released a statement in regards to the accuracy of their claims. But if it's resolved, just let me know☺️ ❎ It tanned my face⛅ Now speaking of FDA levels, although this can be subjective, but my skin just tanned even if I have this product on when I go out, further fueling my doubts about it. ❎ It stung my eyes. I have tried a number of sun products in the past, and this is the first time that my eyes stung. I always end up teary eyed whenever I use this sunblock. Other Thoughts💭: ➡️ Overall, this product could have been better since it has an attractive price and size. If only the formulation is better or that if they've avoided encountering problems with the FDA, I might have trusted the brand more. This just proved the notion that cheaper is not better and I recommend that it would be better for future buyers to invest on a more reliable and trusted sun product than this one.... Read more

I adore this. This is a repurchase for me. No white cast and easy to layer and its 100ml for a very affordable price. Its also very moisturizing and quite soothing so i can skip my moisturizer and go straight to this. I'm always on the hunt for a good affordable sunblock since i go through them real quick. This is really good, currently my best friend.... Read more

Even though i love this. I do have some concern. because it's quite moisturizing it will give a dewy finish. And it will leave a film on top of your face that if you continue with your make up and put on some powder, it will feel really cakey. My powder super cling to this product. I still like this tho but because of this concern i still keep trying other products. Not my holy grail just my current favorite.... Read more

✔️So, first of all, I love that this has no white cast! Most physical sunblocks tend to have white casts, so when I find some that don't, they automatically go into my "to be repurchased" list. ✔️Just as it claims, it is indeed very cooling, and refreshing, and is not tacky or sticky at all. A lot of people say that they don't want to use SPF bec "malagkit", so if you are one of those people, you might as well try this, and for sure, you'll be on board the SPF train in no time. I love using this for both my face and my body bec it really refreshes me, especially with this annoyingly hot weather. ✔️I feel like this is a good dupe for my favorite Purito Comfy Water Sunblock bec I love the way it refreshes my skin, and how my skin just drinks it up! This only costs 299 Php--super affordable, especially with its quality! ✔️Looove how this smells so fresh! It does not contain alcohol (yay!) and so of course, it do... Read more

I think this product is good for normal to oily skin types. My friend who has normal to oily skin, tried this and never had a problem and according to her it is not sticky when applied. It also has a quick whitening effect and is really smooth to the skin. Indeed an SPF and a moisturizer combo!... Read more

I had an oily and acne prone skin and I would never recommend this. I always experience break outs whenever I put this, especially if not washed immediately ( tried this on my face and leave it on for about 3-6 hrs ) then zits came out! Never tried this again on my face. But really good on my body: arms and legs.... Read more
