Don't let this Plain Jane fool you, she is a whopping 80ml tube. The cream is medium weight with tiny bit Bitter Orange scent (Neroli) & absorbs well into the skin after a few minutes leaving a bit dewey finish but isn't greasy. It doesn't feel heavy at all, in fact I've tried so many ceramide creams/emulsions this is suprisingly refreshing in texture & finish. I applied this on my neck & face. There is zero product transfer after absorption!

Historically my skin barrier was destroyed last 2 years. I literally  have thin skin because of repeated use of steroid creams to treat my reoccurring eczema. You can actually see tiny capilliaries on the sides of my nose. My mission this year is repair my damaged skin barrier.

My skin responds very well to ceramide creams. I like that it comes in a tube cuz honestly, I don't like dipping a spatula into pots of cream. Give me a tube or a pump any day! This is way more hygienic & less oxidation. 100% travel friendly.

I use this in my AM & PM routines after toning & serum steps.This cream is light enough to use during the day & prevents TML (Transepidermal Moisture Loss). I use this just before my sunscreen & cushion. There is no pilling or caking of my make up. As a night cream, I use 2 thin layers as I sleep in an aircon room . I wake up with supple soft skin. This is an all season cream.

Outdoor direct sunlight test, my neck area creases did not sweat & itch. This plain looking cream is a dark horse, I will definitely 💯% repurchase.

🔹️MY EXPERIENCE🔹️

This is a low pH Toner. Having sensitive dry skin, I occasionally get a pimple or 2  before my period. This toner not only helped control the sebum but also makes the skin surrounding the pimple less red & painful. Eventhough it is a toner for oily & trouble skin, it did not make my skin dry & tight after using.

The PHA & BHA surprisingly as exfoliators, is very gentle . It has a refreshing tea tree scent, which I love.  I find myself reaching for it on most hot days. It is not only 🌬❄️cooling & refreshing 🌬❄️but also 💦hydrating. For dry sensitive types please use only 1 layer sweeping with a thin cotton pad. I will usually follow up with another essence/serum type toner then my moisturizer. This will be my staple for AM toner.

I used this on my teenage son with acne prone skin & his skin is loving this. The acne occurance & redness is reduced & it doesn't leave the sides of his nose dry & flakey as some PHA BHA toners can do that.
 
✅️TIPS✅️ Those of you who have backacne & chestne (acne on back or chest). Decant this toner into a small spray bottle & spritz on your back & chest after showering. I promise u this worked on the pimples on my son's back. They are GONE!!!🥰🤩

This cream is a powerhouse! It has no scent & you just need about 1 centimeter of it to moisturize your entire face & neck. And its efficacy is very long lasting because even the riches night cream on my vanity cannot beat this!! My face is moisturized from 6am to 9pm!! I have not done the 24 hr test because I live in a tropical country...I need to wash my face & shower often!😂😂

After the initial application there is no greasiness or stickiness. And my skin has a shiney but not oil slick shine! I did poke my face a few times to feel the texture, it was smooth & shiney & the product did not transfer to my finger. It's amazing! What sorcery is this??

I used it on my son who has eczema & teen acne, and he did not break out & did not complain about the greasiness & stickiness. Normally he won't use any cream moisturizer except soothing gels.

This formula is great for dry sensitive skin type, I think as a day cream it could be too rich for oily skin types, probably use it ideally as a night cream.🥰

This product is family friendly with its patented MLE technology. It can be used safely on children.

Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream

🪻EXPERIENCE🪻

This cream has weight and takes longer to absorb than lotion type. It has what I can only describe as bakuchiol smell. Once absorbed,  it leaves no greasy residue or tackiness. I like the finish. It presents no irritation to a retinol beginner like me but I used a thicker toner / serum just in case.😊

As a night cream it is perfect for me & keeps my face moisturized through the night in airconditioned room.

Has it reduced fine lines & wrinkle? I saw more visible result on my neck than my face honestly. I don't have  a whole bunch of wrinkles yet but my neck is losing elasticity. The neck lines are less deep & skin is more smooth.

I like this night cream & will continue to use consistently to see better result.

5th Week Experience Update : 

🌃EXPERIENCE🌃

I did not immediately feel any irritation using this cream because of my skin cycling method . However despite my best effort I did feel sensitized in my 4th week. Literally everything stings. Even a trusted toner!🥲

What I can add to my previous review is that despite its gentle claim people with very sensitive skin, still need to tread lightly with any retinoid/retinal. 

💫TIPS💫
1) Use on a thin layer & preferably with a viscous toner to buffer the retinoid
2) Do use the skin cycling method  Exfoliate 1 night, Active 1 night, 2 days recovery.
3) Increase frequency but not the amount used per application. Using more product is only gonna torture your skin barrier. It won't help you to see result faster.
4) Do use Lip oil. Why? Chapped dry lips is associated with retinol usage. This is rarely highlighted. And I need to tell more people about it. Cuz my lips were fried!!🥺

Yes, after more than 1 month usage the fine lines on my forehead & nasal labial folds & neck are smoothened and pore size is also reduced. But I had to stop for 2 weeks because my skin is just rejecting actives.

Everyone is jumping on the Retinoid wagon, but remember that Vit A isn't the only wellaging ingredient out there. There are still many alternatives, if you cannot tolerate Vit A.

This cushion has a slight fragrance of flower. DEW JELLY is unlike any cushion I have ever tried. The texture blew me away honestly. The cushion puff is a little different from standard puff, thinner, softer & more flexible & much easier to wash & dry. It glides on smooth with❄️ cooling effect ❄️(like a soothing gel) & with great coverage. No pilling & settling into fine lines especially under eyes & nasal labial areas. To achieve full coverage just a single shallow press and u are set. U may need to spritz the puff with a mist of toner 1st to achieve the airbrush look, esp in summer/hotter months.

The finish is dewey & glowy not oily. It's like my skin but better!🤩 I don't even look like I have foundation on, much like a 2nd skin honestly. It is so moist & hydrating, I have super dry skin & I have abandoned my other cushions for this!🤣

Because formula contains 70% jelly essence & 0% water, it has a firming & lifting effect of memory gel.

After application about 5 mins, I did a mask test & it is smudge proof. Normally cushion foundation will a little bit move around if a spritz of water gets on it & u need to touch up. I used a sunstick for reapplication during the day & the cushion did not cake or clump.

I will 100% re-purchase & now going to try AMUSE's other line of cushions.
