I just received my first Yesstyle haul! Took just under 3 weeks which I thought was really quick considering the pandemic and brexit. I got a free mini purito centella toner to add to all the other centella products I bought 😂
I just have to choose which to try first and not go overboard!
I also got some cotton pads to use for toner masks-would the gel work too or should I just stick to toner?
What would you try first?!

I’m just wondering how many people use the 7 skins method and do you use different toners? Also do you use just toners or incorporate essences as well? And last of all...how often do you do it? So many questions 😂😀

Oh how I loath thee, let me count the ways
•Super runny
•You can only use a damp beauty blender to apply and even then it&#39;s horrible to put on
•Sits in pores and makes them look huge (I dont even have very noticable pores and I couldn&#39;t believe how bad they looked after using this!)
•Separates badly which is not something I&#39;ve experienced with other foundations 
•It has no cap on the pump so you cant store in a make up bag as it gets everywhere 
•The coverage isn&#39;t great, extremely light and its hard to build up layers of coverage

It comes it a great range of shades and tones
Its inexpensive

I have nothing bad to report but will update if it starts to oxidise.

First impressions
⭐️Packaging-The product was well packaged within its box to avoid damage during transit. The bottle is made from tinted glass to protect the contents from sunlight, it comes with a screw top and separate dropper which also screws on tightly. The clean design of the box and bottle label strongly portrays the brand, By Wishtrend style themselves as Cosmeceutical- a cross between cosmetics and pharmaceutical. 
⭐️Scent- The scent is an odd earthy metallic smell which is from the addition of Ferulic acid. At first it does seem strong but fades quickly.
⭐️Texture &amp; consistency- The serum is clear with a smooth ever so slightly oily texture and thin water like consistency which spreads easily 
⭐️Absorption- Absorbs fairly quickly into the the skin with a slight tacky feel. Plays well with products layered on top. 
⭐️ingredients and formulation- The base of this formulation is Sea Buckthorn water (43%) which is a smart choice as it’s shown to have a soothing effect to the skin and is a natural antioxidant (fun fact; Sea Buckthorn berries contain 12 times more vitamin C the oranges). Obviously the next notable ingredients are L-Ascorbic acid (15%) and Ferulic acid (0.5%). L- Ascobic acid (L-AA) is a pure form of Vitamin C which promises to increase collagen production, fade hyperpigmentation, brighten your complection, boost uv protection when used with sunscreen and help smooth out fine lines. Ferulic acid in itself is an antioxidant and free radical scavenger but when conbined together it works in perfect harmony with L-AA improving its stability (which is known to be a problem), photo protection and generally increases its effects. Other ingredients are niacinamide which brightens skin and helps to minimise the appearance of pores, Vitamin E a soothing anti oxidant and Vitamin C derivatives (sodium ascorbyl phosphat, Ethy Ascorbic Ether) the later can be helpful combatting acne. It’s well thought out and I feel hopeful this product will give me the results I hope for! 

⭐️I followed all instructions on the box-patch testing, using SPF (which I use everyday anyway) and the recommended 4&#47;5 drops. Also to store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
I have dry skin which is on the sensitive side, rosacea and generally tired dull skin that comes with getting nearer the big 4-0  (shhh don’t tell anyone!) This will be my first time using a pure vitamin C product. 

⭐️I’m insanely impressed after two weeks of daily use. Absolutely no stinging&#47;tingling or warm feeling. Having sensitive skin I was expecting some form of discomfort until my skin adapted to using pure Vitamin C so I was really surprised how gentle it was.
On day 5 I experienced a small about of purging on my cheak which was not longer noticeable after 2 days. I took this as a good sign and the serum was working it’s magic increasing cell turn over.

⭐️Magic is real! Just look at the photos, the difference in 2 weeks!
My skin has better texture, more even tone, reduced redness and just looks healthy. As long as this doesn’t oxidise quickly (oxidation turns the serum yellow and reduces the effects) I can see myself repurchasing this over and over again. I will post again in a few weeks to update about any oxidisation!  
⭐️I definitely recommend trying this product if you are new to pure vitamin C, have sensitive skin or are already using a vitamin C products but are looking for a more complete formula.

The price of the full size products is a little on the high side.

This is a fairly lightweight moisturing cream that packs a punch! It calmed and reduced the look of redness and irritation on my skin. 
*Contains*
•Tiger Grass (Centella Asiatica Extract or Cira)
•Four traditional herbs; Fishwort, Holly, Yarrow, and Sea Holly
•A moisture barrier-replenishing complex containing Arabinogalactan, CaCl2 and MgSO4 and glycerin to care for the skin’s moisture barrier
•Probiotic ferment; Streptococcus Thermophilus Ferment which is derived from the skin&#39;s natural microbiome.

These work together to form a magical potion that delivers on its promise! I purchased this as a tester pack containing the cream, serum and colour correcting treatment for £20 which i thought was excellent value.

As mentioned its the fit for me that knocks a star off, really struggled to get it to fit right.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

🌟Packaging-This is a public service announcement for all cat owners. Please feed your kitty before opening the sheet mask. It sounds exactly like a cat pouch so Pippa screamed at me till I gave her second breakfast 😂

🌟Scent-No notable scent.

🌟Mask-Made from fairly thick mesh like material which is nice and strong. There are small slits in some areas to help shape and fit against the face. The material holds the serum well and there’s a nice amount in the packet.

🌟Ingredients &amp; formulation-The mix of vitamin tree water (also known as Sea Buckthorn water) and Boseong Green Tea water form 21.5% of the formula giving a hit of natural vitamin C and E as well as having anti oxidant, uv abosorbtion and humectant qualities. Panthenol (pro vitamin B3) is known for its healing properties and is very moisturising, this works nicely with glycerine and hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate) which help the skin to retain moisture. It also contains an unusual ingredient called Allantoin, a botanical extract from comfrey root. I hadn’t heard of this before and upon reading up on it I discovered it’s a really interesting addition. It boasts anti-irritatant qualities so it’s great for soothing and calming sensitive skin and for those with acne, as well as boosting the growth of new skin cells so helps with healing. I’m really excited to try this out!

⭐️USING THE MASK⭐️
The mask doesn’t rip like some other masks I’ve used due to the strong material which is great but I personally feel the thickness of the material causes a problem with fit. This could probably be solved easily with a few tweaks in the slits made-an extra cut at the bottom of the inner eye and extending the ones along the jaw line. I really struggled to get a good fit and over the time used had to press the mask down several times. The serum didn’t drip from the mask and there was enough to coat down my neck, décolletage and hands. 

⭐️RESULTS- My skin felt instantly cooled and soothed which was enjoyable. The excess serum left behind after the mask was removed was easily absorbed. My skin felt extremely nourished and moisturised afterwards and looked fresh, bright and generally healthy. I would definitely recommend using this before a special event or if your skin is in need of some TLC. Unfortunately for me the fit of the mask was a let down but only enough to knock a star off, I would rate this mask 4 stars out 5 

🌟AFTER THOUHGTS🌟
Having tried this mask and the By Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C with Ferulic Acid as part of a Picky Review giveaway I have to say I’m a big fan of their formulations and ingredients. This is definitely a brand I look forward to discovering more products by.

If used correctly (under moisturiser and only a small amount) theres nothing bad about this product for me.

I purchased this to help calm my roseace as sometimes it can feel very hot and uncomfortable. It does just the job, soothes and calms with light hydration. Its a thin gel (like aloe vera texture) which spreads easily and you only need a little. The tube is an excellent size and for the price its very economical. This will not replace your moisturiser but is light enough to layer under one.
