Today is the day, guys...

I've started my skincare journey just a few months ago.


I've never had any good dermatologists in my teen years so I kept washing my face with just glycerine handsoap until past December (don't kill me for this, please, I KNOW😭🙏🏻☠️) 

I was having a thorough look on CurlyGirlMethod and I decided to switch all my products to Non SLES (without sulfates). In just 1month my hair improved sooooo much and I started to get more confident with myself... And I said
✨How about looking for skincare routines and products that help me aswell? ✨

I just started to follow Picky a few weeks from that and started to build my new routines and just today I woke up...

💫And my face is clean💫

I mean, I don't recall the time I hadn't not a single pimple or whitehead or scarring or a hormonal breakout in my face since 2001

But today, about 3months from the beginning of this journey I just woke up and I thought that this moment is the first moment of my new life and new confidence and I wanted to share it with this wonderful community cause you also helped me a lot💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Today is the day!

Finally! It took a while to arrive to my little Spanish town🇪🇦

I woke up this morning feeling a little down but suddenly the doorbell rang and it was it!

I can't be happier now cause usually have really bad luck😅 but this time it just arrived when I'm in the need to renew products!

Hi my fellow skincare friends✨✨

I've been recently paying more attention to one important point in skincare...

How long should I wait in between applications to make sure all the ingredients sink in?🕰️ 😱

I usually do this:

🧼 Cleanse and toner right away (I use an hydrating one) 
🧫 Serum/treatments (apply and wait around 15min each) + eyecream
🧴Moisturizer (20min before using SPF) 

If I'm using any mask I usually wait until my face is completely dry after cleanse. 


What about y'all? Do you think this matters?

How long you wait in between products in your routine?
What do you do in the meantime? ⏳

Hace unos meses comencé a usar Retinol 0'5% en mi rutina de noche, x2noches a la semana y empiezo a ver resultados! De todos modos creo que necesito una mano con esto! 

El producto que estoy usando en este momento se siente DEMASIADO GRASO para mi piel grasa... 
Utilizo una crema hidratante con Ácido Hialuronico tras la aplicación y aunque dejo que pase bastante tiempo de absorción antes de acostarme, esos días debo utilizar una funda de almohada de algodón para que cuando me despierte no tenga la cama preparada para freir el desayuno en ella 😬😬😬

Mi piel se siente maravillosa en la mañana de cualquier modo pero me pregunto... 

Podrían recomendarme algún producto con retinol (o derivados) que sean mejores para piel grasa que el que yo tengo? 
Lo apreciaría profundamente😌


Estoy buscando un producto que sea:

- 💆🏻Adecuado para piel grasa (sin sensación aceitosa) 
- ☢️No demasiado fuerte (soy una principiante!) 
- 🇪🇺 Europeo (es difícil encontrar muchos productos asiáticos o americanos en España) 
- 💸No demasiado caro (buena relación calidad-precio)

Retinol 101 (ESP)

Hey cuties!

I had a fellow skincare friend coming over and we were eager to share products but when it came to do our PMroutine I did a thing that started a discussion!

Like, this is normal for me... 
When you shake and squeeze and shake again but a package is not giving you the last remains of the product I usually cut out the bottom of the tube and scoop the goods up to apply everything with a small silicone spatula on my face 👀

She jokingly called me ✨CHEAP✨ because I didn't want to throw a package away that still has some product in it and it's not expired... 
It costs me great money girrrl... so this is my question hear me out!

I want to know your techniques because I don't believe I'm the only one doing this, and I think we all can benefit from it!

If you have any questions I'll answer them! 

My technique on:

🧴Plastic tubes: cut the bottom, use a silicone spatula to scoop and apply. Close with 1 or 2 bobby pins

🧴Serum bottles: store them upside down, unroll the dropper or pumper, use a small brush to get in the tricky corners soaking it up before applying. Wash the brush and dry it on the sun if it's possible
 
🧴Serum droppers (glass): clean and boil for 5 min or clean an leave the unscrewed bottles and droppers for 30-60min in a bowl with warm water and 2 drops of bleach (or any house disinfectant that works on glass). Rinse and remove stickers. Store other products, perfect for traveling purposes. 

🧴Samples (plastic pocket): squeeze them using chopsticks 


SUM UP: 
Do you discard packages with product? How do you save the remains or reuse packages?

👀Are you a cheap queen/king? 👑

This is actually my holy grail. 

I apply it with a silicone brush to minimize thickness 2 or 3 times a week on my T-zone (usually in thr morning routine) 
You can see the effect RIGHT AWAY after you wash it: unclogged pores, minimized, soft and even skin, controlled sebum... And the effect LAST at least 24h. This is fantastic, I&#39;ll repurchase it soon.

It feels kinda overpriced for the amount of it that comes in the package, tho

This product was kinda surprising. It&#39;s nice to touch, it&#39;s fragrance is really light and it doesn&#39;t last long although it moisturizes for days making you glow! 
The texture of this gel is AMAZING, specially for hot summer nights. It also has a matifying effect that helpsba lot (both during night and day) My skin just loves it!

I think is a very basic product for beginners and as soon as you get used to it maybe you&#39;ll wanna check another oil-based cleansing balms.

I wasn&#39;t very confident to use this as an oil based cleanser in my double cleansing night routine but as soon as I tested it.... It changed my mind.
It&#39;s got a balm consistency but you have to rub it on your hands before applying and the magic happens... It turns into an oil! ✨✨

I don&#39;t use it just to wash away my make up, as my face is oily I use it twice a week at night to control it! Very useful!

If you use it isolated from the brand on a routine it won&#39;t make any difference at all, I prefer to use other stronger niaciamide products in order to control oiliness.

Good combo with the 1st Toner from the same brand, Azulene collection.

It feels amazing right from the fridge as its consistency is a bit creamy for a serum, but it helps really well controlling the dryness from the toner.

You can even use two different serums in that routine cause it&#39;s lightweight and absorbs pretty quickly.

It comes in a really small package... I want MORE! 🙈

It&#39;s my favorite sunscreen! 
Easy to apply, invisible and effective, you don&#39;t need much product and you also don&#39;t need to speard it

Best part: you can apply it over make-up and it does not leave any white cast on your skin✨✨
