Picky Box Shipping 🎁

Hello Pickies! 💕 We noticed many of you had questions and concerns regarding shipping prices. Here at Picky, we pride ourselves on being honest, transparent and welcoming! We value your feedback and want to make sure you know your comments are heard! 🥰 So we’d like to offer a more in-depth look at how our shipping prices are determined. Our office is based out of Seoul, South Korea, which allows us the incredible opportunity to bring you the best of K-beauty each month through our giveaways and Picky Boxes! However, this also means our Picky Boxes are shipped from Korea. There are many factors at play when it comes to calculating shipping price, and these include: 🎁 The value of the products. Each Picky Box is worth between $150 to $200 USD, and this price is used to determine fees which may be included in the shipping price. This varies depending on the country of origin and destination. ⚖️ The size and weight of the box. On average, each Picky Box contains 6-8 (or more) full-size products. We are constantly working to improve the Picky Box as well, and October’s box offered a total of 9! Since the number and type of products offered each month differs, the weight will fluctuate accordingly. ✈️ The distance of the destination country from Korea. Additional surcharges for fuel or remote addresses. These surcharges are added by the carrier and are dependent on the price of fuel at the time of shipping, as well as the address of the recipient. 🌏 International incidents. The pandemic, global supply chain crisis, inflation and conflict have greatly impacted the shipping industry in recent years, and especially in recent months. Unfortunately, this has raised prices worldwide as a result. International shipping is annoying to say the least. We are very sorry and understand the shipping cost can be a big barrier for some. In order to keep costs down, we do not charge any handling fees ourselves. The price quoted for shipping comes directly from the carrier. However, we always try our best to provide the cheapest, most reliable and timely shipping possible for the weight and contents of the boxes each month.
