my understanding is that the rule of thumb for exfoliation is 2-3 times a week, or once a week for sensitive skin? 

but does the frequency of your exfoliating routine also depend on what type of exfoliating products you are using (e.g. chemical exfoliants, physical exfoliants, scrubs, AHAs, toner pads with gauze/raised bumps)?

how often do you exfoliate?

I've always wondered how effective is snail mucin! Have you tried any snail products? If so, how did 🐌 work for your skin?

I've only ever had blackheads on my nose, but after two weeks of stress at work and lack of sleep / proper diet & exercise, I noticed that my forehead and cheeks are starting to form blackheads 😭 The pores are looking more visible too these days.

Wondering if any of you have had blackheads form on your cheeks / sudden enlarged pores? If so, how did you treat them? 💖

I have some pigmentation from past acne and mini scars. Please recommend your favorite product for reducing pigmentation that works gently on sensitive skin 💞

Slight tingly effect at the start that might feel like irritation. It was slightly uncomfortable and heated up at first but gradually cooled down. However, my face did feel a little irritated unsettled the new day, despite being dewy.

Was not expecting it to bubble sooo much but it made my face into a cloud!! With the wonderful Soothing Toning Complex made up of ingredients such as Mugwort extract, Madecassoside, Centella Asiatica extract, and Houttuynia Cordata extract, as well as their patented Mucogen (extracted from seaweed), this bubble tox mask calms and soothes my skin for that coveted dewiness ✨

It also repairs wrinkles, brightens skin, performs pore care and gently massages (with the bubble-forming!) to clarify and condition the skin 🥰  The crunchy, crispy sound of the bubbles forming is sooo asmr and satisfying!!

Note that you should use the mask immediately after opening the pouch as the bubbles will start forming quite rapidly once it comes into contact with the air (it went double the speed when i sat under the air conditioner haha). It is also normal to feel a little ticklish at the start as it is simply part of the skin-toning process by the forming of bubbles 🥳

Don&#39;t wash it off! Instead, after removing the mask, gently pat the remaining bubbles to absorb it ☀️☀️

Really wanted to love this one as i adore the roundlab dokdo cleanser, but despite it being marketed as a &quot;Derma Relief&quot; sunscreen (the whole point that i bought it as my face wasnt at its best and wanted a gentle sunscreen), it stung my face painfully as if i had burned my face !! I didnt believe that it was this sunscreen that hurt me so I tried it again without any other significant products and it stung painfully again. The culprit is undeniable 🥲 

Fortunately it doesnt develop into rashes so I&#39;m thinking it might be the Stearic Acid that reacted badly, but im not too sure as ive used the same ingredient in other products before. Perhaps the formulation simply doesnt agree with my already sensitised face. 

I have no qualms if it had been named anything OTHER than Derma Relief as I think it could still be a pretty decent sunscreen for non-sensitive skin types, but unfornately Im going to have to give this one away 🥲

leaves a minimal white cast that leaves my skin dewy, doesnt appear to pile, feels fresh &amp; not tacky nor heavy. great texture and formulation for hot humid weather.

🌿 The texture is slightly different from normal creams - may be a little difficult to spread &amp; leave a white cast if applied on damp skin, so make sure there are no water droplets (serums&#47;essences are fine!)
🌿 may not be hydrating enough as a night cream for dry skin

🌿 Zinc oxide as a uv filter &amp; strengthens skin barrier.
🌿 Absorbs well, soothing &amp; gives a dewy chok chok finish which i adore🥰
🌿 Pretty hydrating but did not last the night on my drier cheeks - may not be moisturizing enough for dry skin, but combi&#47;oily skin will most probably love it💗

stings badly when face is compromised &#47; senstive. i cant spread it across my face as it stings too bad, contrary to the instructions, so i use it as a spot treatment.

does not entirely help heal the acne&#47;pimples but does help reduce the inflammation&#47;size.

does not seem to help prevent acne from forming.

does it help reduce the size and inflammation of my pimples &#47; cystic acne? yes !! in a few days my spots do flatten out if they were less serious, and the bigger more painful spots would take a little longer but does reduce its inflammation and size.

does burn a little when applied but its not too bad &#47; serious. 

i like the light gel like texture - easy to spread and you only need a teeny amount !

Certain oils may cause reactions to ultra-sensitive skin, but worked fine with mine. Would be great if it came with a tweezer like the Carrotene Vita Pad does too.

Easy, fuss-free single use toner pads to remove any excess sebum, leftover makeup or dirt. Calendula and Centella Asiatica are the superstar ingredients here to soothe your skin 🌼 Multi-functional in that you get to exfoliate and tone and replenish hydration to your face at the same time!
