Hi everyone, so for the past couple months my boyfriend has been using tretinoin for his acne, but he got prescribed accutane yesterday and picked it up today and he asked me if he needs to stop tretinoin prior to taking the accutane? I don’t mean stopping while he’s using accutane, we both know he can’t use both at the same time, but he has also along with tretinoin been using minocycline and his dermatologist told him he needs to stop using that 3 days before he starts accutane, which is tonight. Is that the same with tretinoin? Or does it only apply to the oral medication because it’s going into your body and could cause issues if they’re combined. I tried looking up whether you need to stop tretinoin prior to starting accutane but found conflicting results, some saying it didn’t matter, while others saying to stop at least 48 hours before. Any thoughts?

I need a good sunscreen that I can easily reapply at school, I’m not particularly worried though since I’m inside all day but idk I would just like to feel like I have that extra bit of protection yknow? But I am looking for something that isn’t greasy and is quick enough to apply at school without getting strange looks

I feel like I don’t really need sunscreen since I’m inside all day, I’m young, and I wear a mask at school but like maybe for days when I go outside or especially during summer

Currently i’m using differin for my acne and i’m wondering if that’s the best option for my acne? i looked on the CVS website and they have a 0.1% adapelene gel for way cheaper than differin but how do i know if it will be as affective? differin is like 15 or 16$ for 0.5oz and the CVS brand was on sale i think 16$ for 1.7oz. do you think the lower price is like compensation for a worse product? or will it probably be just as affective as differin? or if there is a different product that is even better at treating acne than adapelene gel?

I just adopted a puppy yesterday and he loves giving kisses but idk if it’s ok if he licks my face if i have skincare products on. I don’t want him to get sick because of my products? So is it ok if he licks my face?

I have been using differin for a while now and i just recently got the axis-y dark spot glow serum. I was wondering if these two products are ok to use in the same routine or should i only use the axis-y serum in the morning? if i can use them in the same routine which one should go first?

can i use niacinamide and differin in the same routine?

i couldn’t tell the difference when i was wearing makeup. i only put the primer on one half of my face and when i wore makeup the side with the primer didn’t look any more matte than the side without. That could be because of the makeup that i used but i thought i should still mention this. And ofc the smell, it’s not bad it’s just not good either and it’s really strong. Also, i think this primer is definitely meant for someone with oily skin. this did make my skin feel very dry as i have dry skin. i still like this product because of the mattifying effect because even tho i have dry skin, i don’t want my skin to be dewy or shiny

This primer does a really good job of mattifying my skin. I can’t really say how well it smooths pores because i don’t really have large pores so i can’t tell. This stuff is so soft. Like it feels like velvet. I always enjoy putting this on it’s just so nice to apply. It has kind of like a weird smell i can’t really describe it it’s not really good or bad it just kinda smells like cheap handsoap maybe? idk it’s strong though. The scent doesn’t like fade away right away and i’m just kinda stuck smelling it for a while. It’s definitely not a bad smell but there definitely is fragrance but i have somewhat sensitive skin and it didn’t bother my skin. Overall, it did a good job at mattifying my skin, the texture is the most amazing thing i’ve ever felt, the little bottle is so cute, and i can say it didn’t make my makeup go on smoother.

like i mentioned above, this product does contain alcohol and fragrance. be wary of it if you are sensitive to those but it personally didn’t both my skin at all. just don’t like the smell. it kinda smells like cheap old lady perfume or something. really not a fan of that.

This serum honest impressed me! i didn’t expect to like this very much because of the fragrance and alcohol in it but honestly it’s pretty good. it leaves my skin felling hydrated glowy and plump. it comes in an adorable little glass bottle with a really nice pump in my opinion. it also had like a little cap for the pump so it didn’t leak but i lost that lol. overall this is a pretty great serum and it’s one i find myself reaching for more often as the weather gets colder.

This is my all time favorite toner! it is super hydrating and its perfect to use after using a benzoyl peroxide cleanser it just moisterizes my skin so well and keeps it from drying out. its pretty affordable and i love that its fragrance free so it does irretate my skin. its super lightweight and it absorbs very easily. man i just love this toner its so good 

it didnt do that good of a job removing makeup for me, i had to go in with regular micellar water after this to get the rest the makeup off

this micellar milk is very hydrating and i use it every morning as a morning cleanser and it always leaves my skin feeling very hydrated which i do love about this product

it did leave my skin feeling a little tight afterwards, but i feel like that is because i tried using it as a mask. i dont really get that it says to leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing off but i did that and it just dried down and made my skin dry. I think if im just using this as a cleanser it would just fine. (i included some pictures of my skin while using it as a mask and after i rinsed it off)

First off, the texture is amazing. it fees soooo nice on my skin. it lathers beautifully like omg i love how it feels. my skin felt super clean afterwards. i havent used it long enough to see if it has any brightening affects for my PIE, which im hoping it does based off it having niacinamide and vitamin c.
