Could anyone tell me which ingredients used in korean skincare (not actives per se) have the MOST similar effects on the skin as what a niacinamide serum would do? I’m talking like rice, snail mucin, green tea, honey, etc. I know there’s no real dupe for niacinamide but I’m feeling overwhelmed by everything that’s out there!

Bit of a funky smell, but it goes away quickly. I have dry skin and if I don’t moisturize super well after using this I will get dry patches on my cheeks and feel tightness in the AM.

The first retinol I used and did exactly what I wanted it to do. My skin went from looking very dull and lifeless to even-toned and bouncy. With that said... be patient! I saw visible results using 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks.

Can be drying or harsh for sensitive skin. My face was very irritated the first time I used this cleanser, but I did get adjusted after a couple uses. I think this is better for oily types. I personally just alternate this with a really creamy hydrating cleanser so I don’t get too dry.

Accessible, affordable, effective! I love the gel texture and how clean my skin feels after I use this.

If I use this more than 1-2 times a week my skin will dry out and feel really uncomfortable.

For the areas of my face that are dry, this wasn’t quite enough for me. For summer months as an AM moisturizer under sunscreen it’s nice, but I personally would need something more for the PM, especially in winter.

It’s decent, but I think a little expensive for a drug store moisturizer. I liked how silky smooth it feels to the touch and how quickly it absorbs. Didn’t break me out or leave me looking greasy.

I can’t really tell if this does anything other than make my skin look temporarily pretty and glowy. I didnt notice dramatic changes in my skin or in hyperpigmentation.

This looks really beautiful under make-up or just on bare skin to give a glow without looking greasy. It never bothered my skin or dried me out. Smells like watermelon jolly ranchers.
