All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum
I did not have a very good experience with this serum, mainly because I suspect it broke me out (my worst ever). I was actually quite excited to try this out as part of the Picky reviewer event, but needless to say I was rather disappointed.
This product claims to have brightening abilities and features vitamin tree extract as the star ingredient. It also contains niacinamide, vitamin c, and licorice extract for brightening.
Texture: This is a lightweight, thin serum. It is also clear and transparent.
Application: Upon application, it sinks in easily and is readily absorbed by my skin. It did not leave a tacky feeling whatsoever.
Fragrance: This has a light, pleasant citrus scent to it. In its ingredients list it has several essential oils: geranium, palmarosa, ylang ylang, citrus, and rose.
A few days after using this I started to get tiny bumps on my skin at my cheek area. I didn’t think much of it and applied some benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, thinking it would quickly go away (as it usually does). However, the small bumps turned into inflamed pimples on my skin, and it was the worst breakout I ever had. I suspect it’s due to either the vitamin tree extract (first time using), or the essential oils. The last time I had such a bad experience with a product was the Cos de Baha 2% salicylic acid solution, which also happens to contain Rose extract.

Even I had tiny bumps on my forehead after using it for 3-4 days continuously.
So
1) I started using it with 2 days break after each use. (morning only)
2) Let it sit for 2-3 mins before applying another product
And used the "PAULA'S CHOICE BHA" ×2/week at night, this helped my bumps to disappear.
Sorry, just realised your review was in June 😅 but I hope this helps if anything happens next time.
