💦product claims: a lightweight gel-cream that provides a burst of hydration and acts like a cooling, refreshing drink of water for the skin
💦key ingredients: lady’s mantle, ceramide 3, glycerin, oat extract, calendula extract, shea butter, squalane
💦texture: a true gel cream texture which is lightweight and hydrating without feeling oily or sticky at all
💦overall thoughts: starting with the good–i adore the texture of this cream! it’s perfect for oily/combo skin and is one of the only gel creams i have tried that actually moisturizes as well as hydrates the skin. it provides the perfect amount of moisture and hydration as well, and absorbs really well on my skin.
💦there is a whole lot of fragrance in here! and it has a very strong scent which lingers a bit after applying
💦it stings my skin slightly when i apply it (which i’m guessing is due to the fragrance) and this totally takes away from the supposed cooling component of it. alcohol denatured is pretty high up on the ingredients list, and although this ingredient doesn’t bother me personally, i know a lot of people don’t like it. i think if they released an unscented version of this cream it would become an instant holy grail, but as it is, i don’t think i would repurchase or empty this product since it doesn’t really work for my skin. but this has the potential to be a winner if the fragrance was taken out!
