I have oily skin myself and had no problems with using it all over my face. Since winter is coming I have no doubts I'll be applying it to my dry areas I tend to get. This does have a very medical smell to it which isn't unpleasant, I've really enjoyed this, and I think is a must have for winter and dry skin. I'd recommend applying this at night as it's quite heavy and is not a wash off treatment
