As I had been using a 10% Niacinamide from another brand (which I replaced with the Somethinc), when I used the 5% Somethinc I didn't see much brightening  but what I did feel was my barrier strengthening, there were less break outs and redness has reduced. I then went on to use the 10% Somethinc Niacinamide and that's when I saw my skin get brighter.  My skin was less oily and felt so smooth. I used the Niacinamide in the morning and night in the serum stage, after toner and before moisturiser. I felt that my skin was a little sticky from the serum so I put less, 4-5 drops which I pat on and it worked.
