This product is GREAT for hyperpigmentation. It has azelaic acid, tranexamic acid and niacinamide which are all great for hyperpigmentation issues. It comes in a 1.7oz tube and a little goes a long way. After a few uses you can immediately see a difference in your stubborn dark marks and evening of your skintone. I would use it 1x a week for a few weeks and then up your usage slowly. It goes on very smoothly and does not leave your face feeling sticky. It has a nice texture as well. It layers well with other serums if you have them in your routine. It did not irritate my skin and I was able to quickly up my usage and spot treat with it nightly. It can be used in your AM and PM routines as long as it is not combined with retinols or AHAs/BHAs to avoid such irritation. It is somewhat pricey but it is worth it since you get so much product for the price of $36 USD. It is also avaliable at Sephora which is helpful if you do not want to order directly from the website.
While this product is amazing, it does have an off putting smell. Since it has sulfur in it, it gives off the scent of rotten eggs that quickly disappears after you rub the serum in completely. I would recommend that if you are a person of color, you spot treat with it first, wait until those areas are clear and then apply all over. This product is attracted to melanin therefore it will “fade” all your melanin. It can leave you patchy if you start applying it all over starting off and leave parts of your face lighter whole some are darker. While it is at Sephora, which is helpful, it is sold out often and on their website you can pre order it from directly there.
