I can't tell if it's the cream itself, as I also use retinol around the eyes, but the soft buttery texture leaves my skin nourished and głowy everytime, without too much heaviness. Start ingredients include again glycerin high on the list, but also caffeine, panthenol, various peptides, and multiple extracts, such as Turmeric Root extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, or more widely knows as green tea. Producer also mentions vitamins A and E.
