Ferina review for Clear Skin 8% AHA Essence

*this review was written on 20.09.20 in my IG* This chemical exfoliator with essence-formulated contains 2 different exfoliants; 4% Glycolic Acid & 4% Lactic Acid (that’s why it’s called 8%AHA). Besides, this essence has some healing properties like centella asiatica, aloe vera leaf, & cucumber (all in extract). . IMO this exfoliator is quite hydrating, perhaps bcs of the panthenol & sodium hyaluronate, so this doesn’t make my skin gets drier. The texture is very similar like a toner bcs it doesn’t need a long time to absorb into the skin. I like the aplicator, altho it’s not really a smooth pumper, but still fine. There’s no over-powering scent from this essence, but if you really smell it, you can tell that acidic scent is there. Tingling effect? Yes. But my skin still can tolerate it and IMO this is normal bcs the percentage of this essence is not small. . I’ve been using this exfoliator for 2,5 months and i’m quite liking it, eventho my skin faced an over-exfoliate phase from this exfoliator during the 1st week of application. It was my bad bcs qadarullah i was being impatient for the result🙈, but i was searching the right application time too, how many times i should use this essence in a week since this is my 1st exfoliator with GA & LA. So it was really a trial&error time for me. And after some observations, i think this product could work best on my skin if i use it just 2x in a week. It’s still working in 3x a week tho, but the result is not as good as i use it just in 2x. The result is real, gurl. This is so good for my skin texture bcs my skin feels so smooth and more plump in the next morning and it makes my skin brighter as well👍🏻. And i think, this gave me a huge effect for my milia under my left eye. So one day i noticed that my milia looked more white, like it’s gonna coming out. So i decided to pop it out and surprisingly it came out so smoothly, dude. I didn’t even put an extra effort for popping it out like i did usually 😱. I was super impressed & happy bcs biidznillah the milia is now gone forever and it didn’t leave any dark marks tho, alhamdulillah 🤗😍
