Indeed I haven’t seen this Essence present on social media as much as other kiehls products, which makes this really a hidden gem! Claims: - Hydrates skin, smoothes fine lines, improves texture and dullnesd - Helps activate skin’s exfoliation process for a smoother, more radiant appearance Since this toner is advertised as a “first step” skincare product, I like to use this immediately after i wash my face, as opposed to after toner (which is the traditional order for essences, based on the viscosity). Heads up- It does contain alcohol, but fortunately nothing that my skin cannot handle. It absorbs rather fast despite the thicker consistency and leaves a nice sticky finish to absorb the next product in my routine! Admittedly, I don’t use it daily, but only on days my skin needs extra TLC. $46 for this bottle is ok- not cheap, but it’s around the same price as the popular I’m from Mugwort Essence ($40 USD). I feel like my face is a lot more plump and “awake” after using this in the mornings. It’s definetely a great boost for days when my skin feels extra dry and dull.
