If you haven’t heard of of Heartleaf, it is the most popular ingredient used in skin care products in Korea. This product is perfect for all skin types but particularly for those with sensitive, oily-dehydrated and acne prone skin. What are the benefits of Heartleaf? Heartleaf contains an ingredient called Quercetin that does wonders to our skin! 🌿 It is an anti-inflammatory that calms breakouts, redness, or irritation. 🌿It has anti-bacterial properties that protects your skin against some of the most common acne-causing bacteria. 🌿It has mild astringent properties that aids in regulating excess sebum production and prevents your pores from getting congested. About my skin: My skin type is normal but does get dehydrated from time to time. My review: - As a designer myself, I can say they did a great job on the packaging design. It’s super simplistic and places emphasis on the core ingredient of the product at the front. - I love the texture! It’s super lightweight, almost like a serum texture. It’s non-sticky at all and gets thoroughly absorbed into your skin in an instant leaving no sticky residue hence it’s the perfect product for the Malaysian weather! - Overall, it is a very moisturising product containing humectant ingredients such as glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and panthenol. My skin feels instantly replenished with hydration after application and it gives my skin a healthy glow. - Personally, I didn’t not experience any irritation. I did notice it calmed my small red spot (not hormonal acne or pimple) which usually occurs near my “time of month”, but it does take a few days of use to see the results. - I didn’t notice any changes in my sebum levels. This could be due to the fact that I do not really have oily skin to make any comments. The product contains 86.66% natural ingredient so it is expected that it works very mildly compared to other vitamins such as niacinamide hence it is great for sensitive skin. - In conclusion, I do see why this product is great for sensitive skin. The ingredients are not potent to irritate sensitive skin.
