There are so many wonderful things I could say about this toner from @thelabbyblancdoux but let’s try and keep it to 2000 characters!

First and foremost, the lightweight consistency of this toner is right up my alley. It’s incredibly watery, and absorbs into the skin really beautifully. There’s absolutely no residue left over, but the formula, in my opinion is still very hydrating- my skin definitely feels rejuvenated both directly after use and after using this consistently for a couple months now.

Although I’m not sure how I feel about the ‘clean beauty’ trend, I tend to prefer products that keep it relatively simple when it comes to their formulations and ingredients list, and this one is certainly minimalist! It’s packed full of wonderful humectants to ensure your skin stays nice and hydrated, and cuts out all the harmful ingredients we’d prefer to avoid such as fragrance, alcohol or essential oils!

This toner is GREAT for layering (I use maybe 3&#47;4 layers per evening) due to the watery-ness (that’s definitely NOT a word), and lack of residue. So I’ve found it lovely to use each morning to ensure my skin is dewy and well protected for the day!

I’ve just fallen in love with this toner, and I’ve already purchased a replacement (that’s how you know you’ve struck gold!) This has definitely one of the brands I’ve had my eye on over the past 6 months or so, and they’ve definitely impressed me with the products I’ve used so far! Would highly recommend checking them out if you love hard working, but relatively simple formulations!

As for down-sides. There are very few. Almost zero. Except for the price. I’d like it to be a little bit cheaper so I can buy more, but at the end of the day its a high quality product using wonderful ingredients, so I can’t complain too much!

Um hi favourite thing. One of the best discoveries I made in 2020, by FAR.

This is the ma:nyo Bifida Complex Ampoule. Its most important function is its ability to regenerate the skin, and consequently the ingredients list reads like a love letter to sensitive, dull or ageing skin! It contains 90% probiotic extract which is fab for soothing sensitive skin and also helps to restore the skin’s microbiome, which is basically all the bacteria that lives on your skin and essentially determines wether your skin is healthy or not, so pretty important stuff! It also contains niacinamide and hyaluronic acid (two of my other all time loves which are great for brightening and hydrating the skin!).

Using this ampoule is a very pleasant; it’s super lightweight but still feels very luxurious, and absorbs really quickly into the skin. Initially, you sort of expect it to leave a bit of an oily film, but it absolutely doesn’t. There’s no added fragrance, which we love to see, and in my experience works REALLY well with other products.

Overall, I’ve seen a real difference in my skin after using this product. My eczema around my nose has quietened down (although this is probably due to a combination of calming ingredients I’m currently using) and I’ve seen my skin become MUCH brighter and generally a lot clearer. Definitely one of my all time favourite products, and I’d recommend to anybody and everyone!

Unfortunatelt it’s got some pretty weird characteristics. It’s super tacky once it dries, like very unusually so, quite uncomfortably so. I usually don’t mind a little bit of tackiness because I tend to add a layer straight on top, but this makes my skin feel really clogged up. However, at the same time it doesn’t feel very hydrating at all (which is weird because you sort of expect something to be occlusive OR dehydrating, not both!). To be frank, it’s all a bit strange, and I can’t figure out where this all comes from considering the pretty stellar ingredients list- it must derive from the way it’s all formulated. 

It also smells very medicinal, which became a little overpowering for me. Again, I’m not sure where this has come from because it doesn’t actually contain any added artificial fragrance. 

So unfortunately, although this was actually PR, I will not be purchasing this toner for myself in the future. I like the colour of the packaging though… so that’s… something?!

I was all prepped to love this product- the ingredients list is pretty good (except for the Aloe Flower Extract which I could do without), and my first usage was a pretty pleasant experience. However, that naively bright and positive outlook quickly changed once I began using it more.

The finish was not my favourite thing. It was a little too rich for day-wear and I found it left my skin slightly oily around the T-zone. If you have very dry skin, I think you’re really love this, especially for the winter time. But for me, with my normal-combination-sensitive skin, it just wasn’t ideal. I did wear it a few times at night, though and it worked very well as a sleeping mask. Also the scent was pretty overpowering, definitely the strongest out of the whole Noni line (I’ve tried quite a few of their products!), and it didn’t really go away that quickly. So despite it being very moisturising at night, I’m not sure it was moisturising enough to cancel out the overwhelming scent and the undesirable oiliness throughout the day.

So overall, it didn’t really live up to what I want&#47;expect in a repairing cream like this, and I probably won’t be recommending too quickly.

Now, I usually love all creams with the word ‘repair’ in the name, because they usually contain a cocktail of my favourite calming and soothing ingredients, which I ALWAYS need more of. And this cream didn’t disappoint… completely. Containing around 57% Noni extract, Niacinamide  and Centella Asiatica, which are some of my all time favourites, everything was looking pretty positive! Application of the cream was pleasant, the cream absorbs really well into the skin, I like that the colour reflects the rest of the line, with a slight green tinge, as well as the lightweight texture. I kept this cream in the fridge, which I think improved the overall experience of using the product because it was incredibly soothing on first application.
However, that’s pretty much where the positive experience ended…

I don’t have too many bad things to say aboht this product, other than it’s a litrle expensive, and I use so much of it, I find I run out super quickly!

This is one of the most effective anti-irritation products I have ever tried! Despite this sentence being used by practically EVERY skincare blogger out there, I truly do mean it when I say I see a noticeable difference in my skin if I go a period without using this. It keeps redness at bay, particularly around my nose, which is where I often experience eczema, while also keeping my skin hydrated and happy. If my skin is feeling particularly itchy or angry, I immediately reach for this, even if its 1pm in the afternoon and I’ve got a full face of skincare on, including SPF (I haven’t tried it over makeup, however!).
