I received my medicube giveaway package. Did anyone else find the vita c serum to be a yellow color? mine is like a creamy yellow which makes me nervous because I thought yellow means it has oxidized 😒 appreciate you hear your experiences…

[REVIEW] BYECOM Ampoule Set

I received these products for free from Picky and BY ECOM in exchange for my honest review.

BYECOM Pure Calming Ampoule
This lightweight, fragrance-free ampoule rapidly soothes irritated and sensitive skin. It’s ingredients are highly concentrated to replenish moisture back into the skin. Featured ingredients are tea tree, centella asiatica and portulaca oleracea. I found this to be nice and refreshing. It doesn’t dramatically lessen my facial redness but I can see using as part of a larger collection of soothing items. I did find it did not spread as well as I would like and was a bit sticky for a while. 

BYECOM Spot Eraser Ampoule
This is a highly concentrated, fragrance-free ampoule that energizes tired and dull skin by visibly reducing dark spots, freckles and blemish scars. It’s featured ingredients are niacinimide and kumquat extract. I found this ampoule to spread more easily than the one above. It has a more water-like consistency. With most lightening products results do not happen overnight. I intend to use this daily for the next several weeks and note any differences. 

BYECOM Honey Glow Ampoule
This is an Antioxidant-rich honey blend (propolis, royal jelly and honey) that revitalizes skin with nourishing moisture, leaving skin feeling soft and supple with healthy glow. Of all the ampoules this one stands out due to it’s fragrance and oil-like consistency. It’s scent is hard to describe but I would say it almost smells like apples. It has a thicker consistency and spreads super easily. If you are looking for that “honey glow” this will do it. It leaves a dewy shine on the skin and feels very moisturizing.

Review - BYECOM Ampoules

I received this product for free from Picky and Medicube in exchange for my honest review. 

1. Triple Collage Toner  — I was very excited to try this product as I love using toner. It contains hydrolyzed collagen, atelo collagen and soluble collagen that works to hydrate skin from the inside out, leaving skin smooth and soft. I found the toner to have a watery texture and it absorbed very quickly. It left my skin feeling soft and ready for the next step in my routine. However, the fragrance was not to my liking at all. I don’t mind fragrance, in general, but this has a very flowery perfume-like scent.

2. Deep Vita C Ampoules — The serum is an almost yellow creamy texture. At first I was concerned I received bad product but after asking others it seems that is how it is supposed to look. I have had a bad reaction to vitamin c before and it’s hit or Miss whether it will burn. This did not irritate my skin at all! It blended into my skin smoothly and absorbed quickly. However, again I will say that the fragrance was too strong in this product as well.

3. Triple Deep Erasing Cream — First I’d like to say I love the fragrance. It is subtle and smells a bit like sunscreen with coconut. Yay for fragrance! (At least this one 😒). This is a beautifully textured cream that is extremely moisturizing and hydrating. I will mostly use it at night since it’s a bit thicker but it’s also perfect for upcoming cold weather.

Overall, it was a bit of a mixed bag. I will probably not repurchase the toner or vitamin C ampoules. I will definitely consider repurchasing the cream.

Review of Medicube Routine Set

Personally, it’s just a bit too thick for me to use it as a toner so I treat it like a serum. 

Is it a toner? Is it a serum? I’m not sure. Officially, I believe it is considered a toner. The instruction state to use it after cleanser and before serums. However, it’s unique, thicker creamy texture might make you think otherwise. The important part is it does what it claims. It is super hydrating and moisturizing without leaving any heavyness on the skin. It dries without any stickyness and feels very refreshing. I had no trouble layering serums and moisturizer after using it. I also experienced no irritation on my reactive skin. Overall, it provides a really nice experience and I will definitely repurchase when it runs out.

Great multi-purpose product. Leaves a lovely dewy sheen and very moisturizing. 

Personally i do not mind the chlorine-like scent but some may not appreciate it. It is not strong and the scent does not linger.

This product is one of my holy grails. When my skin is irritated or flushed for any reason the spray will always make it go away within a few minutes. It is very cooling on the skin. This product only contains three ingredients, is reasonably priced and is also very helpful for Maskne issues

The product does have a slight sulfur scent. However, it is not strong and it does not linger.

This is a fantastic product I have been using for over 4 months. It has all the best ingredients to help fight hyperpigmentation including kojic acid, niacinamide and licirice root. My overall skin tone is brighter and a large sunspot has gotten noticeably lighter. Definitely will be repurchasing!

I enjoyed using this. It has no detectable scent, cleansed my face without any tightening and I like that it acts like a toner as well.
