best oil cleanser that doesn’t break me out

i have always wanted to try the oil cleansing method and since i have combination skin i thought this could really improve my congested pores and oil problem especially around the t zone. so i got the face shop cleansing oil the most suitable one which was not hella expensive compared to others. of course because i was trying for the first time. i used it and firstly it had fragrance but i am generally okay with it. but after using it i got a pustule on my cheek. i stopped using it. after a week i tried again but only around my nose area but again i started seeing bumps around my other cheeks. so i quit it for sure. maybe oil cleansing is not for me :/ any alternatives?
