I’m not new to skincare but new to active ingredients! I mostly use only Hyaluronic acid, ceramide, centella and staff not highly active ones! 

And currently I’m adding retinol, niacinamide, adapalene, … to my routine! Can you drop your best practice please?

We all have them laid on our shelves that we barely  touch for some reasons. I have mine below with personal reasons. What about you?

• Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum: strongly fragranced. I kept trying tho I dislike the scent and yeah I could finish up to 3/4 but nothing really happened. 

• Tiam Vita Refre C Toner: It didn’t work what it claims. The color changes very quickly. It needs as much care as a baby. 

• Cosrx Shield Fit Snail Essence Sun: My skin is oily and I know I shouldn’t have tried it. But…
It darkened my face and the sebum is just excessive. My pores got clogged, the tiny bumps started to form. 

• Neogen Gauze Peeling Lemon: It felt good and soft after peeling but the pad on the gauze side was quite hard and harsh which could hurt your skin. And after almost a jar, I didn’t see any results. 

• Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream: Exactly the same as Snail Essence Sun and it peeled off. 

• Tiam My Signature C Source: it stings my skin and very sticky. The color changed very quickly tho it’s stored in the fridge. I barely used it a few times only. 

P.S This is personally experienced and it might be different for others.

Products I didn’t finish / won’t repurchase

Sleeping without having removed the skincare/makeup!!! Yeah this happens to me! I hate myself when I let this repeat, and always regret it the next morning!

Best NIACINAMIDE ever

It comes with no box, just a plastic wrap which makes the product look less apeal! It should have been packaged better, and with a spatula.
That’s it, just a little drawback, but my love for the result is still grand.

Fisrt impression, this rice wash-off mask has great scent. I know it’s artificial but it’s relaxing, not too strong and not causing any skin reaction. 
To the result, i love how how little and quick it is to apply comparing to many wash-off masks i ever tried. The amount needed is a coin size. The shredred rice grain and tiny pieces of sugar make no stripped feeling. They’re gentle, do a good scrubber.
After 10mn, when rinsing off, my skin was completely soft. I feel like there was some kind off oil (feel-like) which really soften the skin. Doing this 2-3 times a week I’m happy wity the brightening complexion improvement.

This serum is the first niacinamide serum i ever tried which 100% works as what it claims. 
I was reluctant at first because i uesd to have bad breakout before, but after a night of patch testing, i was quite aww to try it on my face. I had spotty noticeable PIE, which were so hard to get rid off. And I tried this serum without much thought, i was only focusing on brightening side. But yeahhh, so much improvement after 2 months, finally I could notice fruitful changes. My skin does get brighter, less appearance of scars, the PIE are now barely noticed and I’m so jawdropped. I love how my skin is now so so much. I’m not a good ingredient reader, just only niacinamide and arbutin tgt get me to try this! I just emptied the first bottle and yes the 2nd is to be opened!

• hydration: too light, not recognizable, not recommended for dry skin
• storage: need very very extra caution as the color changes to orange very quickly
• repurchase: no

I’ll put it short and pointy. 
• Consistency: lightweight, quicky absored
• Help: brighten up
• Partner: great with Tiam Vita B3

Dont forget to shake or you’ll only get vicous fluid, not the milky one.

Tried out new shield!

Skin type: Oily
Brand: Goongbe
Eligibility: baby over 6m 
Texture: watery, easily applied, leave minimal cast. (Very much alike Missha Sun Milk)
Fragrance: mild to none
First impression: I purposely got this sunscreen for my kid only yet it looks good so I put it on my face 😜!
On day 1, I used it on top of Hyaluronic acid moisturizer. My face gets quite oily after an hour (aircon room), I need 2 sheets of oil blotter. 
Day 2, I used Vitamin E moisturizer instead, and yeah the sebum was compromised and not so much shining (my skin looks better). 

Conclusion: Your moisturizer plays important role! Choosing the right sunscreen alone is like clapping one hand. You need the right moisturizer to marry your sunscreen. Peace!
