Even on my oily skin, this did nothing in terms of actually hydrating or moisturizing. Even using it with hydrating serums, my skin felt tight, like I had just used a harsh cleanser. In order to make it work for me I had to layer either squalane or rosehip oil on top, and even then it was just ok. I’m also not a fan of Versed’s demonization of silicones, a completely safe ingredient (I know some people have problems with it, but still). That kind of unscientific fear-based marketing just kind of rubs me the wrong way 🤷🏻‍♂️
