This is not really a bad thing but it was what i noticed when using it. It did sting my skin a little but it happens with most AHA’s. It didn’t cause any bad reaction so i know it’s not hurting my skin but the AHA’s working. The stinging also went away with a minute ( It stated it’s normal on the website I think ). 

Would i recommend this product ?
Yes definitely ! It is very effective at exfoliating my skin without irritation. I would recommend you use it once &#47; twice &#47; thrice a week only( which is the recommended number of times to use it as stated on it’s website)  unless you have very matured skin because over exfoliating the skin is not good. 

Repurchase ?
Yes ! This bottle lasted my for many months so even though it’s not the cheapest exfoliant i would still consider repurchasing. Overall i prefer bha’s because i have oily skin but this is definitely good at controlling dead skin build up which is also good at preventing acne ! Just use it carefully if you have sensitive skin. I try to use it on wet skin and that way it doesn’t sting my face. As my skin got used to the product , it started to sting less as well.

How i used it :
As a exfoliant , right before i tone (i use it every night ) 

My personal experience: 
This is an effective exfoliant , it’s very good at getting rid of dead skin build up. It contains 5.25% aha which is enough to effectively remove dead skin build up and not too a high percentage that it will cause irritation to the skin.  It’s at the right PH level too for the glycolic acid to work , contains some very good anti-oxidants as well . It’s so good for skin texture and made my skin smoother and softer. 

It has no fragrance&#47;perfume&#47;essentials oil or common irritants ( this is the same for all of krave beauty’s products ) which is great !

This has a ph range of 4.5 which is not the range for AHA’s to work optimally but i still feel that it gives me some very gentle exfoliation 

This is not the strongest AHA I have used but it is enough for my skin . It’s recommended to use it only 2-3 times a week .  For those looking for deeper and stronger exfoliation this might not be ideal because eventhough it has a relatively a high percentage of AHA blend it is still not very effective. 

Would recommend it to beginners who are interested in testing out AHA’s because this is very gentle and most likely won’t irritate most skin types .  Overall i really enjoyed using this product and my skin loves it too!🧡🧡

The product does not emit any scent but it has lavender extract in it which might be sensitizing for some people whose skin cannot tolerate fragrant ingredients

What i liked about this product is that it still effectively exfoliates my skin without any irritation or stinging sensation. Most AHA’s would cause stinging to my skin but not for this one. It has a nice combination of natural soothing ingredients which is good to counteract the natural irritating effect of AHA’s. This product is not drying at all , didn’t make my skin peel and it adds a tiny amount of hydration to the skin.   

Texture is watery and lightweight like that of a normal essence not oily at all , works well even for my oily acne prone sensitive skin. 

Experience :

Not very hydrating on its own so good to use it with other products to layer hydration . 

It’s a little oily and skin feels a little bit sticky after using it although it’s oil free , but not too oily for my oily skin . More suited towards dry or normal sensitive skin. 

Recommend ? Yes ! If you are looking for an alcohol free and fragrance free toner that is gentle , soothing and good for the skin barrier :) overall it does meet the product claims ! 

Repurchase ? For me,  if there is a sale ! But can lasts for quite a while

My personal experience: skin type- dehydrated oily sensitive acne-prone skin 

How i used it : as a toner in my night routine , i pour it directly onto my face .

✅No fragrance or alcohol or common irritants either so great for sensitive skin&#47;noses . Didn’t sensitize my skin , no stinging and no reaction either 

✅helps in relieving some redness and soothes any inflamed acne bumps ( can notice a little bit of difference the next day ) 

✅helps in repairing my skin barrier , relieve dry spots and makes skin look healthier ( with long term use on top of other products )

✅packaging is opaque so it should be uv protective !

This was not moisturizing enough for me. My lips chap very easily and while this helps to repair the skin on the lips it didn’t fully prevent the lips from chapping . It was not moisturizing enough for me.  Although this is meant to be a day time lipbalm I used it only during the night because i don’t like to wear lipbalm during the day. By the next morning my lips are definitely less chaped but during the day if i don’t reapply it , it still chaps but not as much . This is a decent lipbalm but i prefer something thicker to protect and repair the skin on my lips . Requires frequent reapplication as well and rubs off quite easily .

Would i recommend ?
Yes , only for the daytime . This is more like a sunscreen for the lips and for maintanence of healthy lips. Not my top choice for repairing chapped and dry lips. For the night , something thicker like vaseine might work better.

What i liked about it: 
It is lightweight, not too oily and not sticky , nice to wear it during the daytime. Good for layering lipstick over it

Has spf 30 so it provides a good amount of sun protection to prevent lips from being damaged&#47; discoloured due to uv damage 

Contains jojoba oil and vitamin E which helps to moisturize the lips and repair the skin . 

Has a ph level of 5.5 which is good for protecting the acid mantle of the skin

Contains some essentia oils which could irritate sensitive skin. Requires a bit of messaging and rubbing in because of how thick it is.  The herbal scent is very strong and lingers even after application. Not a fan of the scent at all. 

In terms of effectiveness, my skin barrier didn’t appear stronger / improve after using this. Skin was still very inflamed and sensitized . Not the best for repairing the skin barrier in my opinion.

Emoillient, whipped , thick and rich 

My thoughts :
Creates a thick barrier over the skin , helping to lock all the skincare in. It’s not greasy even though it’s thick. Still breathable and not heavy. Can see myself using it daily all year round. Has an herbal refreshing scent to it. A little goes a long way. All skin types can appreciate this because it’s not very greasy.  Feels gentle and nourishing. Great to use when skin weak and irritated. Also, a PH-balanced cream according to the website.
