The brand is pronounced “skin one oh oh four”, also known as 천사 (cheon-sa) which means Skin Angel. I really adore the majority of the products I’ve gotten to try out from this line. Here is a collection of all the products I’ve gotten to try out and review thanks to the Picky app!

Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil

This did an amazing job at breaking down my highly pigmented dark green lipstick and glittery eyeshadow. I love using it in combination with a foaming cleanser after. That way the foaming cleanser didn’t dry me out and I was able to get rid of any and all makeup residue. It’s also a great way to properly break down layers SPF at the end of the day. My full review is down below.

Dry/Sensitive

I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. The cleanser is the first fragranced product from Skin1004 that I tried and I was impressed I still liked it. The scent is mild and naturally occurring in the oils in the formula, there were no added synthetic fragrances in this face wash. It features bergamot and olive fruit oil. If you hate the thicker texture of cleansing balms, I think you’ll like this one because it’s nice and lightweight. It emulsifies as soon as you add some water to it, and it didn’t feel like it left my skin too oily unlike some other products I’ve tried over the years. This cleanser worked really well for my overly sensitive and dry leaning skin. My favorite way to use it is applying it to dry skin to loosen up my makeup, and then adding water to it. It works really well at removing pigmented makeup and breaking down SPF. You can either rinse it off with water, or use a reusable cotton round like I did in the video to wipe off any pigment this oil may have missed. I still liked using a cleansing foam after this video to remove any lingering glitter (I do this automatically when I’m wearing a bunch of makeup like I did in this makeup removal). Like all other Skin1004 products, this one features centella asiatica (also known as cica) which is meant to help your skin remain calm. I find it to be a soothing ingredient that doesn’t irritate my overly sensitive skin. Another cool thing about this ingredient is that it can be used safely with actives like retinoids, vitamin C, or exfoliating acids.

Madagascar Centella Ampoule

This one was a nice lightweight option that didn’t feel sticky to me (I just make sure to apply on damp skin). This is a great option for the summer months that still managed to hydrate skin. You can read my full review below!

Dry/Sensitive

I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. Fun fact: this was one of my first introductions to korean skincare, and one of the first products I ever got to try from Skin1004. The brand is pronounced skin one oh oh four, also known as 천사 (cheon-sa) which means Skin Angel. Let’s start this off by saying ampoules tend to be stronger than your every day serums (they have a higher dose of certain ingredients in their formulas), and they’re not meant to be used daily. Due to personal preference and due to my skin sensitivity, I didn’t use this every single day in my routine. I would switch use it a couple of times per week though. Even with my overly sensitive and dry leaning skin, I found this formula to be gentle enough. Centella Asiatica is also a safe ingredient to use with other actives in your routine like exfoliating acids, vitamin C, or retinoids. The main ingredient in the formula is Centella Asiatica (also known as cica and tigers grass). The ingredient is well known for its healing properties, which makes it great for treating post acne hyperpigmentation. It is also well known for being a hydrating ingredient. According to the brand’s website, this formula has less than ten ingredients which is a win in my books. It also features glycerin to help with moisture, which is probably why my dry leaning skin loved it. I also love the fact that this ampoule is fragrance free. It has a water like texture, it is so lightweight. I also loved the fact that this didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky like some other products I’ve tried over the years. It’s very breathable and I think it would be great even for people with more oily leaning skin. Mine tends to be dry leaning, but I still love using this product in the summer time because it’s so lightweight.

Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ PA++++

This was my first ever Korean SPF and wow did it change my mind about wearing SPF daily! (To be fair I live in a cloudy area, and I don’t leave the house everyday which was the main reason for not wearing it daily.) Super lightweight and 100% fragrance free. Absolutely adore this one and have repurchased! Only complaint is that I wish there was more in the tube. But you can buy a two pack on Amazon and other retailers.

Dry/Sensitive

Product gifted for free by Skin1004 and Picky in exchange for my honest review. This is hands down my favorite SPF I tried this year (and I tried more around 10 different products in multiple forms: serums, stick, traditional, etc). It’s super lightweight and feels like a thicker serum (hence being called a ‘sun serum’). It is 100% fragrance free. Do you know how rare that is in SPFs here in the US? I’m so used to the icky lingering smell of US products, where even if you wash it off, you could still smell the SPF on you. Luckily you don’t have that problem with this formula! No lingering scent and it washes off easier than thick competitors. One of the main ingredients is centella asiatica (hence the name of this line). This sun serum is incredibly hydrating thanks to this ingredient. Plus cica helps with hyperpigmentation left behind by acne, as well as the inflammation of currently active pimples. It features Niacinamide, which also helps with retaining moisture. Plus it is an SPF50, which is higher than most products in daily routines a lot of us have incorporated (if you wear makeup the SPF is often weak, sometimes at 10-15, and often less than 30). So this is fantastic for layering with makeup. I didn’t have issues with this formula pilling up when I applied it with makeup. I love that it doesn’t feel like it just sits on top of your skin, and it doesn’t feel greasy. I recommend this to any and all looking for anew SPF option.

Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule

If you have dry leaning or overly sensitive skin like me, this would be the serum for you! I loved how creamy this serum is. Extra hydrating and fantastic for the winter months. I also sometimes get eczema patches on my face, and this ampoule helps keep the flakiness at bay. Definitely at the top of my list for anyone who deals with dry skin on their face like me. Again, I had no stickiness if I applied it to damp skin.

Dry/Sensitive

Product gifted for free by Skin1004 and Picky in exchange for my honest review. I’m not sure why but my review seems to be missing form Picky, so I’m reposting it again. The brand is pronounced “skin one oh oh four”, also known as 천사 (cheon-sa) which means Skin Angel. I adore milky products like this one! For those who don’t know, ampoules often have more concentrated ingredients, and the first ingredient on this line of products is Centella Asiatica or cica (also known as tiger grass). Since it is the first ingredient on the list, it is the most potent in the formula. It is meant to be super hydrating, which my dry leaning and eczema prone skin found it to be. It is also a fantastic option to help with skin recovery if you struggle with post acne hyperpigmentation like I do. This formula wasn’t too thick, nor was it too thin. I found it to be nice and hydrating, without feeling sticky or heavy. It also features ceramides to help your skin retain moisture. Lauric Acid is also featured (which is not an exfoliating acid), but rather a fatty one found in things like coconut oil. It is another skin soothing ingredient. As someone with overly sensitive and dry leaning skin, this product worked wonderfully for me. Lastly I also love that this is a fragrance free product. I highly recommend you check out this line if you haven’t already. There’s a reason that their products have gone viral. They work and they’re affordable.

Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Silky-fit Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++

Not quite as good as the sun serum in my opinion, because I had some pilling if I applied too much of this. To be fair I’d rather apply too much and deal with some pilling than not apply enough and end up with a sun burn. But I can’t recommend that this one works well with makeup because it didn’t for me. But it still provided easy on the go application as a stick SPF.

Dry/Sensitive

This product was gifted for free by Skin1004 in exchange for my honest review here on Picky. It is so easy to apply! I absolutely adore the fact that it had no lingering SPF scent like the ones I grew up with (I couldn’t make out a particular scent with it anyway). I would say that this has a lightweight balm like texture. It was thicker than their sun serum formula. As someone with dry leaning skin, I felt like this was a great moisturizing product as well. I was impressed at how smooth my skin felt even an hour after initial application. Just like the other products from this line, it features Centella Asiatica (or cica) which is a great hydrating ingredient, and helps combat hyper pigmentation left behind by acne. So I think this is worth looking into if you’re looking for a product that hopefully won’t make your acne worse. Lots of us use AHA’s/BHA’s/PHA’s and or retinoids, which means we need extra sun protection because those active ingredients can leave your skin more sensitive to the sun. Don’t forget it also makes for a easy option for on the go application, and it’s small to fit in your bag without it taking much room. I also like using SPF bars like this one for helping preserve my forearm tattoo.
