Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner
This product was gifted for free by Acwell and the Picky app in exchange for my honest review. My skin is usually very picky about toners. It also leans on the dry side, so I was very impressed when this toner helped clear up some of the dry skin in one of my problem areas: my nose. My skin felt so smooth after using this toner and the matching serum. And I was very pleased that this toner didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or like I had to wash it off after use like some others that I’ve tried. So it was a refreshing toner option.
The only thing that made me pause was that this is touted as a makeup removing toner. I never apply toner to my eye area and don’t plan to use this toner to remove mascara or other eye makeup as part of my cleansing routine. However I like the idea that it could remove any morning skincare or lingering foundation/highlighter that your cleansing step may have missed.
