It leaves a slightly tacky when applied. This happens on completely clean skin (cleanser only) and with serums (cleanser and serum). It also makes my face more shiny than I’d like. These aren’t dealbreakers, but it’s worth noting. I use this at night only so appearance isn’t too important for me. I would only purchase it for summer months.

This product is very lightweight, almost watery consistency. It would be good for oily and combo skin, especially during summer. It keeps my combo skin moisturized without being too heavy. I also appreciate it being fragrance free.

Nothing bad to say. I love the hemi-squalane!


I use this on my hair! Just a few drops applied when it’s nearly 90% air dried. This product makes my hair soft and shiny but not greasy looking. It’s light so it doesn’t weigh down my hair like other oils i’ve tried in the past have. I highly recommend trying this if you’re struggling with dry hair!
No comments on skin since I’ve never tried it directly. However, my hands do feel smoother after I apply it to my hair.

Using it on my oily t-zone leaves me feeling a little greasy and shiny so I would avoid it on oily skin. I use a lighter moisturizer on those parts instead.

My doctor recommended this product for my
eczema and it works great! It's really useful
especially when I have flareups. I also use it on my
dry/normal skin type cheeks and it makes my skin
nice and soft. The texture is thick, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for.
I'd recommend it as a night moisturizer.
If possible, get the size that comes with the pump! It lasts a long time and is worth every penny.

I absolutely hated the smell, so much so that even if this was a less expensive product, I wouldn’t puchase it. The smell was so pungent that I thought the product had gone bad at first. It reminded me of sticker adhesive and tape, it was absolutely awful. 

I received a sample size to try and was amazed by the effects even after just one use! I had some small pimples that went down and got less red after using this lactic acid. I also noticed some of my old acne scars get a little lighter. Overall was very impressed by the product but it’s way too expensive for me.

The fragrance is very strong and overwhelming. Fragrance will make this a bad choice for most people with sensitive skin/fragrance allergies. It’s also extremely expensive. There are definitely products out there that are just as good or better for way cheaper.

This was great for combo skin! Not too thick or too thin. It kept my skin moisturized even as the weather got drier.
