Hi everyone, 

I’m in real need of mascara recommendations please! 😅 I have VERY short, stubborn Asian eyelashes that can barely stay curled and so far I haven’t found a mascara that is ‘the ONE’ for me 🥲

My current lash routine involves the Etude House Dr Mascara Fixer (Perfect Lash Edition, the clear formula) first and then Maybelline Big Eyes Volum’ Express Mascara. While this has been working pretty well for me so far, I find that it’s just not quite enough and my lashes don’t stay curled for more than 2 hours. 

I was wondering if anyone has any mascara recommendations that are waterproof, smudge-proof (I’m very prone to panda eyes 🐼) and suitable for short eyelashes like mine!

𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒?
🧐 This cleanser has a relatively strong scent of essential oils which isn’t ideal for me. You get used to it after a while but it would be better if it was fragrance-free in my opinion

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃
🌟 10/10 at removing waterproof makeup & sunscreen 
🌟 Doesn’t sting eyes 
🌟 120ml size so it’s bigger than most other cleansing balms
🌟 No greasy residue after washing your face with it!! 
🌟 Has hypoallergenic + gentle ingredients

It’s a great option, especially if you’re someone who double cleanses everyday.  

𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒?
🧐 I initially made the mistake of thinking that this cleanser would clear up and prevent mild acne on my forehead, but this cleanser doesn’t really advertise to be acne-targeting.
 
- Based on its ingredients and properties, I think the purpose of this cleanser is solely to protect the skin’s moisturise barrier, soothe inflamed skin and retain hydration. 

- However, I think acne-prone skin probably would benefit from this cleanser in terms of calming irritation around breakouts but I wouldn’t expect it to completely get rid of pimples!

🍵 Very gentle on the skin, doesn’t leave your skin feeling stripped or tight after cleansing.

🍵 Rich foamy texture that lathers up nicely. Suitable for dry skin types

🍵 Formulated with 10,000 ppm green tea and green tea extracts which is super soothing for skin redness/inflammation and other sensitivities 

𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒?
🧐 I personally cannot fault this moisturiser in any way. I just wish it grew on trees so that I could have access to it all the time 😫
Some people might say that this moisturiser is too thick, but I’m a massive fan of the consistency bc it actually feels deeply moisturising 

If this moisturiser has 1000 fans, I’m one of them
If it has 10 fans, I’m one of them
If it has 1 fan, it’s me
If it has 0 fans, I’m dead

The one, the only, Pyunkang Yul ATO Cream Blue Label. My holy grail of all time. If all the moisturisers on Earth were going to suddenly disappear and I could only pick one to save, this is the moisturiser I would choose. 

Let me start off by saying that I have purchased this moisturiser a total of 21 times so far. TWENTY ONE 👁️👄👁️ This number will continue to increase because I repurchase it for myself but also for my loved ones. I’ve gotten at least 10 to 11 different people onto this moisturiser, including my sisters, cousins, coworkers and friends. It’s just THAT good and 100% too good to be gatekept 😫 

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃
🌀 Soothes very dry/irritated/sensitive skin
🌀 Formulated with very simple yet nourishing ingredients 
🌀 Strengthens skin barrier (!!) 
🌀 Fragrance and colourant free 
🌀 It’s so gentle that even babies/kids can use this

If you’re someone with dry/sensitive/irritated skin, this is the moisturiser I’d recommend for you. It’s definitely thick, but not to the extent where it feels greasy or heavy so it’s definitely suitable for oily skin types too 🌟

𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒?
🧐 Because of the titanium dioxide, it does has a very mild white cast, but it’s definitely less noticeable compared to the Torriden sunscreen. The white cast isn’t streaky and it actually seems to be similar to those Korean brightening/tone-up primers? Sadly, the white cast shows up on my skin so I don’t think it would be suitable for people with deeper or warmer skin tones :-( 

🧐 Contains fragrance and it has a very strong perfume scent which I’m not a big fan of 😢 (This is oddly specific but it smells almost exactly like Elizabeth Arden perfume)

Personally, I’ll continue to use this sunscreen as a body sunscreen, only because the perfume scent is just way too strong for me to put on my face 😭

If you’re looking for a super lightweight physical sunscreen (and don’t mind the scent of perfume) then I would highly recommend this for you!

Unlike most other physical/mineral sunscreens, this one is made with titanium dioxide! 😯 I found this quite interesting bc I’ve mostly only seen zinc oxide sunscreens 

Another thing that I find so cool - this sunscreen is called “Age 0880” which means it’s recommended for anyone between 8 to 80 years old! The website also says that it’s suitable for pregnant women 🫶🏼

🧐 The shade range…. there are only 2 available shades in this cushion range (😭) The one I’m using is considered to be the ‘darker’ of the two so unfortunately it isn’t inclusive for other skin tones 

🧐 The website states that this is a neutral medium beige but to me it seems to have very mild peachy/pink undertone especially in natural outdoor lighting

The shade I’m using is ‘23 Medium Beige’. I haven’t used a cushion in a while so I was super keen to try this out 🤩

💖 Semi-matte, lightweight, non-drying finish 
💖 Application is so EASY 
💖 VERY high coverage, it literally blurs all my cheek redness and covers up my pimple scars

I’ve tested this in a humid environment and also wore this for over 9+ hours and I only had to touch up my smile lines and nose area ONCE 😳

My overall review: I LOVE THIS CUSHION. 10/10 will repurchase!!!! ✅
