My skin did not like this astringent at all. It dried out my already-dry skin and made it tight and reactive. It also worsened my breakouts instead of improving them. I tried this astringent and the Thayer's Witch Hazel Astringent, and both gave me such terrible reactions. This one particularly made my eyes burn during use, and was extremely harsh on my skin. The scent is unbearable as well. I found after trying this astringent that I am allergic to Witch Hazel. I feel that there are much better options for cost-effective toners that perform better. I definitely recommend giving options from Peach Slices, CosRX, and La Roche-Posay a try instead.

This product has been my mother's holy grail for years, as well as my grandmother's and great grandmother's. She recommend Witch Hazel to me to help with my acne from a young age. This astringent does a good job of removing any leftover dirt or makeup after cleansing, and it is very easy to use.

This product is very, very strong and is quite painful for dry and sensitive skin. My skin reacted horribly to this, and actually made my acne worse instead of improving it. The smell is also very strong and burns your eyes if you get the scrub even remotely close to your eyes. It's packaging makes it seem very suitable for teens and young adults, but there are definitely much, much better options at a good price point. I recommend checking out options from CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, Avene, and CosRX instead of purchasing this product.

I started using this product as a preteen who was just starting to develop a skincare routine. I knew nothing about skincare at the time, and this was very evident. This product does the basic job of a scrub while introducing you to salicylic acid.

This astringent was another one of those products from my early preteen acne days. The texture and packaging make this astringent easy to use without much difficulty.

This astringent is marketed to help control stress-related acne. I used this product in my preteen years as I was just learning about skincare. This product is easy to use and seems to be best applied to cleansed skin with a cotton ball or cotton pad.

Although this spot treatment works quite effectively, I found it to be far too drying for my skin, and even my pimples. This has a potent concentration of benzoyl peroxide, which can be sensitizing for those with sensitive skin or those who have never used benzoyl peroxide before. It also has a strong scent, which burns your eyes if placed on the upper portions of your face. As a whole, there are much more effective and less harmful spot treatments available at a reasonable price point from brands such as Origins, Clinique, and N°7.

This was my go-to spot treatment during my preteens when I was trying to control my breakouts. The tube is mostly easy to use, and the formula itself does a good job of drying out the pimple and keeping it from growing. This product also comes at a good price point for those who are newer to skincare.
