Since there are already a couple other discussion posts about favorite fragrances… does anyone have a favorite vegan & cruelty free fragrance you would recommend? My current favorite is Heretic Dirty Violet. 💜

For those who may be curious, many fragrances include musk scent ingredients that are derived from animals.

I honestly cant find anything of substance to critique about the product itself. I would prefer it if the 1 oz travel size bottle had a dispenser cap to make applying this with my hands an option (without spilling out excessive product).

YTTP’s new chemical exfoliant combines three gentle fruit acids with antioxidants from kale, spinach, green tea, and licorice root. It is a clear, watery liquid with a fresh herbaceous scent from the rosemary hydrosol base. This is a leave-on product that’s applied like a toner.

I used this exfoliant for about 3 months before writing this review—until the trial size bottle was nearly empty. The product feels so light and refreshing on my skin, no stinging or burning. Most importantly, I feel like over the course of time I started seeing a real difference in my pore appearance and skin texture. I would usually apply a liquid exfoliant with my hands but this trial size bottle doesn’t have a dispenser top so I find that a cotton square works better. I typically exfoliate only 2-3 times per week, but I tried using this every night for a week to test how gentle it actually is. Zero problems whatsoever and no sensitivity. This would be a great all-around exfoliant for anyone with dry or sensitive skin who doesn’t want to risk sensitivity.

Although I received a free trial-size bottle of this product from YTTP to try, this is my honest opinion. This is one of the best chemical exfoliants I’ve tried. I love this product and will definitely repurchase (soon, because I’m running out!) 

There is very little to criticize about this lovely product. I have comments only about the packaging: The glass bottle is readily recyclable at home, but recycling the plastic cap will require more effort. The glass also makes this less travel friendly.

I am absolutely obsessed with the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence. It is unlike any other essence I&#39;ve ever tried. It’s ingredients should be friendly to most skin types.

This essence starts out with a clear tea-colored layer and a light creamy layer on top. When you shake up the bottle the layers combine into a light, creamy moisturizing toner-essence. It readily absorbs and makes my skin feel like a cloud. My combination skin just drinks it up, especially in the cooler weather while transitioning to winter. And best of all, this essence is vegan and cruelty-free! Worth every penny.

I have absolutely no complaints and think this would be a great mild cleanser for most skin types.

Dear, Klairs Gentle Black Facial Cleanser is thick and super creamy. It has no perceptible fragrance. I only need a small amount to work into a beautiful lather that leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Both products have no added fragrance. Seems like it would work well for pretty much all skin types. Combined with the Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil, this one of my favorite nightly double cleansing routines. 

- May be too rich for those with very oily skin (I have combination skin).
- Glass packaging is great for recycling but may not be the best if you do your evening cleanse in the shower or are prone to dropping.
- Price may not fit everyone’s budget.

YTTP’s new Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm is aptly named – it really is dreamy! The balm comes out of the jar seemingly quite firm but them melts down into a luxuriously cushy oil cleanser. The scent is subtle and lightly fruity. It smoothly glides over dry skin and then emulsifies into a beautiful cleansing milk once combined with water. It melts away SPF and makeup (including waterproof mascara) effortlessly. Unlike many of the other cleansing balms I’ve tried, this one does not leave my vision blurry after I rinse it off. 

As a dedicated double cleanser, I follow this with YTTP’s Superfood Cleanser. Afterwards, my face feels unbelievably soft and smooth. However, a second cleanse is not necessary as this cleansing balm rinses off easily with cool water and does not leave any residue or film. Especially for those with drier skin, this balm would work wonders as a stand-alone evening cleanser.  

For what it’s worth, the Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm also works great as a moisturizing balm on rough elbows and heels. I was a gifted product to review. However, this cleansing balm has quickly become a staple in my evening skincare routine and I will absolutely repurchase. 

Another superstar product from YTTP! Suffice it to say that I am in love.

- May be a bit too drying for those with dry skin
- The fragrance is fresh but relatively strong as compared to other YTTP products
- Glass bottle is easily recyclable but may not be the best choice for those who cleanse in the shower or tend to drop things
- The trial size bottle has an open top, so it can be difficult to dispense a precise amount

I really like this cleanser. It has a lightly perfumed but fresh scent. It takes only a small amount of product to work up a nice lather; a little bit goes a long way. This cleanser makes my face feel completely clean but at the same time does not feel stripping. Works well on its own in the morning and as the second step in an evening double-cleanse. It comes in eco-friendly recyclable glass packaging. Although I received a trial size product to review, this is my honest opinion.
