Hi! I swim a lot so I am looking for a waterproof SPF, preferably cruelty free. I’m currently using the Cell fusion C laser sunscreen, but I couldn’t find any info online on whether it is cruelty free or not. Thanks!

Best cruelty free + waterproof SPF?

Looking for a new cleansing balm. I haven’t tried a cleansing balm that I absolutely LOVED yet. I tried the banila clean it zero purity and it was ok, nothing mind blowing. Looking for something that will give skin benefits besides just cleaning makeup off. Any suggestions?

This is a really nice retinal cream. It’s not greasy or anything at all, but it still provides a good amount of moisture. There’s a very faint scent to it that doesn’t linger. 

Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really like retinal in how effective it is without being too harsh. After applying this cream at night, I immediately noticed an improvement in my skin’s texture the following morning. It wasn’t irritating or anything at all either— pretty balanced between gentle and effective.

Packaging: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The packaging of this is super cute, and the pump works well for dispensing the product. It’s pretty small and almost looks like a travel size product. I’m not a huge fan of the neon yellow, but other than that I like the packaging a lot.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really like this product and it’s one of my favorite retinoids I’ve tried yet. It’s cute, effective, and my skin tolerates it well. It is pretty pricey though considering how tiny it is, but I think it’s still worth it!

The original Klairs vitamin C serum worked really well for me, so I had high expectations for this. It did not disappoint— in fact, I think this one is even better than the original! The texture is much better in this serum and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It’s more like a clear gel that feels like a moisturizing serum. It doesn’t smell like anything either, which is great, because a lot of vitamin C serums smell bad. 

Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This serum absorbed super easily into my skin and delivered great results. Since I’ve already used vitamin C previously, it’s a bit harder to see changes in my skin, but I could tell that this made my skin look bright and smooth.

Packaging: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The packaging is great and is an improvement from the original. I know a lot of people didn’t like how the original was in a clear bottle since vitamin C oxidizes, but this one is solid. I also prefer the pump to the dropper. It also looks nice and I think the holographic look is really pretty. 

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m really impressed that Klairs could make an already good product even better. The $40 price tag makes me a bit hesitant to buy this, but I will definitely still repurchase this regardless (I’ll just look for a sale 😅)

Aqua Boosting Essence Toner ($18): My addiction for @axisy_official products continues 😄 This hydrating essence is a new drop from the brand and another amazing product. This essence is super moisturizing and contains hyaluronic acid that provides deep moisture into the skin. It feels lightweight and soothing with a texture slightly thicker than water. The essence has a very faint scent. I absolutely love the way it smells, as I really like subtle natural scents. It smells very lightly of like a sweet rice smell. It feels really nice too upon applying— the feel of it kind of reminds me of the Rovectin lotion, which is really nice too. As I’ve said before, nothing from Axis-Y disappoints.

This beautiful serum felt just as nice as it looked. I love thicker serums since they feel so nourishing. The texture of the serum is like a thick gel. It’s a clear light brown color and reminds me of honey boba. The tea scent is very light, but it’s nice.

Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This serum is so nourishing and really provides deep moisture. I find myself gravitating towards this product when my skin is dry. It’s a bit hard for me to tell how much it did for me in terms of anti-aging, but it definitely made my skin feel great and healthy.

This product might have one of my favorite packagings ever. Even from the moment of unboxing, the serum comes in a super cool and luxurious box that holds the serum. The packaging reminds me of luxury brands like Sulwhasoo but at half the price. Don’t get me wrong, this definitely isn’t cheap, but it’s not luxury brand expensive. The serum itself comes in a heavy bottle that honestly feels even more expensive than the product is. And the lettering on the bottle is shiny and looks super cool over black. The pump works great as well, and it’s easy to dispense the exact amount of serum I want to use.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve loved most products I’ve tried from Pyunkang Yul, and this was no exception. This was definitely one of their higher end products though, and I’m generally pretty hesitant to buy a $40 product, even if it’s really good. I’m going to keep an eye out though for when it’s discounted, because I absolutely love everything about this serum.
