Do you still double cleanse if you’re only wearing sunscreen that day? 

I usually double cleanse only if I were wearing makeup.

Vitamin A are known for reversing signs of aging and is said to be beneficial for acne prone skin as well, so I’ve been wanting to incorporate it into my skincare routine since I have acne-prone, dry and sensitive skin. 

I’m interested to know when did you start using retinol/retinoid products (I’m turning 23 in a few weeks time), which ones did you try and your experienced with them (no matter it’s positive and negative)?

I couldn’t find any bad things about this one.

I have noticed that this eye cream makes my under eye area firmer over time other than keeping it moisturized, which in turn has made my dark circles a little less obvious.😲 

It has a super rich texture but would get absorbed quickly once you apply it. It is also cruelty-free and free from bad alcohols, fragrance and essential oils.

I think mine will last for at least half a year, making it an affordable and effective choice that I would highly recommend without hesitation.

Not moisturising enough for my dry skin at night. But the most disappointing point is that the 73.55% of mugwort extract it contains didn’t make it standout from other moisturisers, it didn’t seem to have deliver extra soothing effect compared to the wash off mask and the essence from the same line. There are other options in the market that deliver similar results but in a much more affordable price range.

I just hope that the masks are a bit bigger so that they can cover my whole forehead. 🤣

It’s also not easy to read the instructions and ingredient list at the back of each mask as the color contrast between the text and the background is not obvious.

The material is something that deserves a mention as well, it is the softest and lightest one I’ve ever tried and it clung on my skin really well.

Too much of a good can be bad, especially when it comes to exfoliation.

I was using it 3 times a week at the beginning by directly applying it to the whole face with hands and my sensitive skin simply couldn’t handle it. Visible reddening, burning and discomfort around my cheeks were what I’ve got as a result of over-exfoliating .

Tips to avoid over-exfoliation:

1. Start with products with a lower concentration 
2. Start with 1-2 times per week, allowing your skin to slowly builds up the tolerance 
3. Apply a hydrating face mask after exfoliation
4. Alternate between AHA and BHA products instead of using both at the same time 

3 ways to apply liquid exfoliants:

1.Applying it to the whole face using a cotton pad after the cleanser step
2. Mixing it with your moisturizer and applying it to the whole face&#47;targeted areas
3. Applying it directly with your fingers as a spot treatment 

It’s always beneficial to patch test on a small area first and remember to wear spf daily as the use of AHA can increase skin’s sensitivity to the🌞

I use it 2-3 times a week and it helps bringing pimples to a head or flattening them, and makes pores visibly smoother. It’s one of those special treatments that helped me to deal with my recent hormonal breakput. 

A little goes a long way, I hope I could finish it before it expires.
