I’m wanting to stock up for the summer and wanting to find a product which blocks out the uv/uva rays but still helps with a tan. I don’t tan easily and am always pretty pale! I don’t like to hide behind make up and can’t stand fake tans.

Uv protection that allows or even helps a tan. Is there such thing?

What is your favourite food containing skincare product? Some foods are naturally good for skin care and natural- no chemicals. Cucumber can help with dark eyes. Greek yoghurt is a good hydration face cream, fights acne, minimises signs of aging. Aloe Vera and honey mixed are extremely good for healing - sunburn, redness and acne. Sugar beets contain lactic acid. Honey for the hair. Bicarbonate for teeth... Obviously we don’t want to smell like the kitchen despite so many great things to be found in our pantry. Some products have taken this into consideration - Pai copaiba AHA deep clense. Most Eminence products contain some food contents. Lots of products have Aloe Vera in.

All year or just summer? (Uk here). What strength? How do you get a tan if strong strength? I wear 50 in summer (about 3 weeks per year) that’s all though.

Winter is coming- no not game of thrones! Winter is on its way. Although living in the Uk the winter weather thankfully isn’t too harsh, but it still can play havoc on the skin. A good lip barrier protection is a must to avoid cracking. If they do crack then I tend to use Eucerine - I can’t comment on the ingredients but it sure heals my cracked lips extremely quickly. It may not be the best solution but I’m all ears if you have any recommendations? Vitamin D  - there is very little at this time of year and most people are naturally deficient. Anyway - what are your recommendations for keeping the winter weather away from your skin?

Tastes really nice and leaves your lips a lovely colour.

This is a well known product which had been around for a long time. Sold in most stores. It has no taste and doesnt colour the lips. This is a simple straight up vaselin lip care product compared to others. Keeps the lips moist and helps to protect them.

Left my skin feeling really sticky. Rather uncomfortable texture. Wish I never purchased it.

Absolutly amazing. My skin felt so soft, fresh and moisturised after the first night. It is a very thick product that only a little bit is needed. A little goes a long way.
