I have been having TERRIBLE issues with my skin being more dry than usual lately! I know it’s due to the cold weather. However, usually a good skincare routine helps to get it under control. This year, I’m just so dry that whenever I apply makeup I get flaky and patchy! I’ve been using a gentle cleanser (Kate Sommerville Goat Milk), followed by an essence, followed by a water bomb moisturizer, followed by a thicker moisturizer, followed by a hydrating primer before makeup application but it’s still not working! Any suggestions on great products of any of these types which might help? Also primer suggestions would be helpful too! Please don’t say to drink more water or any lifestyle stuff. I already do those. Thank you in advance for any recommendations! 🥰

I have very dry skin, and I do makeup looks for IG. I love a cleansing balm to melt away all the products after I do a look (double cleanse with a moisturizing cleanser). What are your recommendations for a good balm or oil to use?

Isn’t really a bad thing but its not the same as other essences. It doesn’t work well for me when I leave it on. It’s not meant for that though. 🤷‍♀️ Nothing really bad. 

Let’s start by saying that my favorite thing about this essence is the lovely texture! 😻 This is a unique product in other ways as well. Being very dry, I usually use essences by applying and patting in as my first step after cleansing. With this one, using it in that way doesn’t work too well for me. It leaves a residue if you leave it on. However, when you follow the directions, this is actually a great product for dry, dehydrated skin! It’s very odd for me to apply a product and purposely make it “pill” up. 😅 But when used after cleansing, and when rinsed off, it gives the same effect as if you had applied an essence and just patted it in! It actually feels even better, because you can then apply a more traditional essence on top of it if you desire and it gives you even deeper hydration! After using 3X per week for a couple weeks, my skin looks more plump and a bit brighter too! I would recommend! 👍🏻

I have very dry skin so I still need to moisturize more after using this. I didn’t see much long-term improvement from it either. Also, because the bottle is so short, the dropper is also short and can’t pick up enough product to cover my face. I have to use 2-3 droppers every time. 

This serum sinks nicely into the skin. It is refreshing and leaves skin hydrated. The packaging is beautiful and looks great sitting out on the counter! The dropper picks up the serum nicely. It isn’t as thick as most serums I’ve used. It has a consistency almost between a serum and an essence. There is no scent to it. 

 I love this spf! It’s hydrating, non-greasy, and not sticky. It also has a very nice mild scent to it. The packaging is lovely as well. 

Calypso is my favorite step of my routine! I LOVE Vitamin C products, and this is my new holy grail! It sinks into the skin, leaving it glowy and soft. I've seen great progress in the texture of my skin after using it over the weeks. There's no greasiness with this elixir. It’s just a nourishing bottle of luxury that I will never go without again! I simply cannot recommend this product enough, especially if you have a dry skin-type like I do. The light, natural scent is EVERYTHING too! 

This is my new favorite serum! It’s hydrating beyond belief! I love the thick texture and the gorgeous glass bottle. You can feel it sinking in and moisturizing, but it still leaves a layer (almost like a sleeping mask) which takes about 1/2 hour to fully absorb. After it does, my skin feels so soft and smooth! It doesn’t have a scent. I haven’t experienced any pilling, but I honestly haven’t layered too much with it yet. I really haven’t felt the need to, which is crazy for me and my dry, dry skin! 🤯 I’m excited to see what long-term effects I get too!
